  3. We are looking for an Arb Ground Worker to join our team at Silver Oak based in Sheffield. Ideally you will already have some experience working with an Arborist or already have some NPTC tickets. We are looking for someone who can work on a self employed contract basis for 3 days a week, potentially more. Job role: Chipping Dragging Lowering Looking after the climber in the tree Tidying Logging Use of chainsaw Experience: Ideally we would like someone with some experience and qualifications from an Arb College or NPTC Tickets CS30/31. We will also consider applications from people with experience in landscaping or garden work but with a willingness to learn and complete NPTC tickets. The applicant will need to have a good level of fitness, happy to work outdoors in all weather and potentially be eager to climb in the future. We undertake primarily large scale contract arboriculture utility works, rail, construction, highways, site and ground clearance works for utility and insurance companies, across the Midlands and are undergoing a period of rapid expansion. We are looking for experienced arborists to join our teams. Candidates should ideally be experienced and must work well within a team environment and under instruction. Minimum qualifications for standard applications are NPTC CS30, 31, 38, 39 & 40 (41 is an advantage), a current first aid certificate, chipper certification and a full driving license with towing ability preferable. We are looking for an experienced time served member for our utility arboriculture work on the powerlines, we look for the ability to lead by example with excellent communication skills. For powerline work UA 1, 2.1, 2.2 (2.3 is an advantage) Electrical Line Clearance Units required for utility qualified personnel.
