  1. They had 5" of snow in London, on Saturday. People were put on planes ready to leave, they waited on those planes for up to 7 hours and were then asked to get off. They then go into terminal and then are pretty much abandoned!!! These are not stupid people, they had a flight booked and went to catch it, they have been very badly let down IMO!!!
  2. Are you for real??????? There are children and the elderly, having to sleep on the floor in the cold, with little or no help or even information from those who are in charge and you call them selfish!!!!!!! They have my deepest sympathy.
  3. Did you tell him about it??????? If not then it is HIS idea, not yours. Some people talk about doing things, others get on and do them. A guy who I get in occasionally, who business is not doing too well, once told me how lucky I have been to succeeded in my business, my response was, that the harder I have worked the luckier I have been Some people make there own luck, some people make excuses.
  4. Words of wisdom mate, words of wisdom!!!!!!
  5. Moisture may get in from the air line when inflating. I think the beads would be less likely to be affected by tiny amounts of moisture, than sand.
  6. No mate only once in the 7 years I've had this mog. I was already well bogged when I let them down, so it was hard to see how soft they were getting and I just let too much out of that one.
  7. I have a bit of mud in one of my tyres, from when a tyre came off the rim. In this cold weather it must freeze into a lump. It makes the mog undrivable at speeds above 30mph, due too the vibration. Once its thawed out its fine. So I think enough of these beads will make a massive difference. (Obviously I will be removing the mud from the tyre before I install the beads.)
  8. Thanks Steve, that stuff really fits the "bagging" description that I was given
  9. I've asked a few and they look at me like I'm stupid.
  10. I know large wheels, off trucks and the like, are not balanced like car wheels. But I heard from someone that they can be "bagged", which apparently is where a bag of fine silica sand is emptied into the tyre and when the wheel spins it settles around the inside of the tyre balancing it. Has any one heard of this and where could I get my mog wheels done?? Cheers, Dave.
  11. Fair does mate We must all work in a way that suits us best You got the job done in a safe and efficient manner I'm sorry that my comment lead too some rather negative comments, that was not my intention.
  12. Does any one else get the page loading and then reloading continually, so I can't scroll down and read the page, I have to go back and try loading the page again. Although too be honest my laptop is knackerd and I'm going to treat myself too a new one for Xmas.
  13. Great video!! But I will never understand why so many people spend ages rigging off all the brash and then just crash down the timber???????? I would have just cut and chucked it all, then my groundie would have been busy shifting the brash, not holding a rope.
  14. He would still not have to pay under the new system, as his earnings will not be over £21K.
  15. Can you not just file off the burr's?????
  16. I love the first one!!!! Big tree!! Ballsy cut!!!!
  17. I would think if you drop out, the fees you owe for the time you have been there will still be pending and once your earnings reach £21K the tax man will start taking payments, £300 a year. This is a "graduate tax" thats all, I think its a lot of fuss over nothing, I think many of those protesting do not even understand how it works
  18. :confused1:Do you not have stop bars on your chippers???????????
  19. IME, you may get a little yellowing of the cut tip, but nothing more.
  20. Rubbish, they just have a very high MC when felled and need to be dried correctly.
