  1. I have the 13t magic, its great!! Very quick and very safe. With the table on, you have foot peddle to bring the knife down, but with out the force to injure you, you have to put both hands on the leavers for full power. You will be well pleased, IMO.
  2. I was not having a go mate But Steve runs a great show here and does not need the hassle of dealing with this sort of thing
  3. Can you not see I have highlighter in bold the 4 letter word you have rearranged the letters of, to dodge the filters. This contravenes forum rules and we have been repeatedly asked not to.
  4. Please don't do this Steve has asked us many times not to.
  5. Indeed, but I have no alternative to using a Co for insurance, phones, insurance, finance, etc. So I accept I will get shafted to a point:001_rolleyes: But here TCD does have the option to keep control of the whole situation, buy owning the chipper out right. I am only expressing my own point of view and what I would chose to do, which is what we were asked to provide
  6. That sir was a real bargain!! nice one!!!
  7. Just buy 2 £20 drills and keep one as a spare, when the one you are using packs in, use the spare and change the other next time you are at B&Q, simples
  8. I have had loads of occasions where I have been shafted by a professional Co. Not because any one got in a huff, but because they put themselves first (just as I do) now they got away with it because they had what they wanted righten in the small print and I did not have the time or inclination to read it all With the best will in the world TCD will not have the time or expertize to wright enough info into a contract too cover every eventuality. I think it could very easily go pear shaped.
  9. There was a foreign corespondent on radio 4 the other day, who was reporting from some where in South America. She had be taking to some of the guys who break in wild horses. One guy was 92 and still breaking horses!! She asked him his secret, his reply was "For gods sake don't ever stop!!"
  10. She's like me, if the kids are happy so is she. We've been happily married for 20 years, so we must have things reasonably sorted
  11. You don't have kids, do you mate Making you kids happy has very little to do with listening to what they say they want, its about making sure they have the things that as a parent you know they need
  12. You don't stop doing things because you get old, you get old because you stop doing things. If you climb because you have too or because you want to call your self a climber, then age can be a great excuse to quit, but if you are a climber and you love it and its why you do this job, then your age is just a number and there is no reason to stop. I'm 41 and still going strong, I have no intention of ever stopping. What those who are older lack in youthful energy they more than make up for in experience and cunning.
  13. The "partnership" is the worst vessel to ever set sail. It would not be for me, things change and I need to have freedom to be flexible, if needs be. Having to fit in with the needs and wants of another would drive me nuts. Just my view.
  14. They must have had less 88 castings on the shelf. The 661 will be a newfangled thing, that is designed for emissions, not performance.
  15. Because the 66 is sold in fairly small numbers, they still have a lot of oil tank castings with screw threads, so the new cap won't happen. My dealer has already seen part numbers for the 661, so it is coming.
  16. Spot on You want a 24" bar and a 8 tooth rim!!
  17. Won't happen mate:thumbdown: We will get the 661, with new caps I'll buy a new 660 (with old caps) before the stop production.
  18. Yep!!. its good news in my book, better fuel for not much more.
  19. True, but if you are claiming that £450 is the minimum for a 2 man team, surely this is based on working full time.
  20. What he said!!!!!:congrats: My children are my life, if they are happy not much else matters.
  21. This is what happens when the government over legislates and takes the power to make decisions away from employers. These people have be compulsory retired before the law changes. Once the new law comes in employers will not be able force people to retire. Before this change employers could keep those over 65 who were still capable and let go those who were not. Now all have the right to stay. Some of those that been let go at Longleat where 70, so before this stupid law they where judging them on a case by case basis, but know they can't.
