  1. If its only just taller than you it sounds like a fairly small tree (at the moment) I would be very surprised if a tree of that size has caused any damage. You cannot claim against your neighbour for his trees putting off potential buys of your property. My advice would be to speak to your neighbour about trimming the tree and thus keeping it at a size that will not cause damage to the surrounding properties.
  2. :confused1:I really don't understand this thread??????? You say "usual places tried", but I know Alex price will have most disc's in stock or can be flown over for the following day.
  3. "The antidote to panel games" one of my favourite programs
  4. Isn't just about a month since the last time she had the hump???.................
  5. Stick a screwdriver through the air filter, get it tested and then fit a new air filter. I worked for a guy who had a fairly new Hilux that would fail on emissions, he found putting a hole in the air filter sorted it
  6. So are you saying all van and truck drivers need a WL, because they have their lunch in their vehicle????????
  7. I have a customer who wants a small spruce trunk carving, its about 8ft tall and maybe 10" diameter. We remover the branches and top the other day and he would like maybe an Owl carving out of the top to create a feature. Could anyone interested post in this thread, pictures of previous work would be very much appreciated.
  8. That is very sad. We may moan about our weather, but we rarely get the kind of extreme weather that threatens life and limb.
  9. I think he's referring to the climber being hit, not the groundie.
  10. :confused1:That looks nothing like the one in the vid Well OK it's the same shade of green
  11. Not used one but spoken to people who have, they appear to be OK,but not great.
  12. As Stevie would say "fell, fellity, fell".
  13. Looking at pictures, it looks like it could have been felled (missing the other tree). Is there a reason this was not done????
  14. Ah yes, just realised why I don't miss my TW
  15. No, with less than 5 you still need a RA, but it does not need to be written, a verbal is OK.
  16. The idea that new chipper don't break down and need parts is IME utter nonsense, OK for the first years the warranty covers the cost of most repairs, but not the down time, but if you have finance for 5 years, 4 of those years it has no warranty.
