  1. Don't confuse realism with negativity, a positive attitude is great and helps over come many obstacles, but its important to be realistic and know what is achievable.
  2. You couldn't make it up mate!!!!
  3. No its not the exhaust brake, its an air operated lever on the back of the injector pump, if you need to stop the engine when there is no air you can just reach under the wheel arch and move the lever.
  4. I give all my chip to my neighbour (farmer) he uses some for bedding and sells some to landscapers, if I get enquires for chip I give them his number.
  5. Did a small job for an elderly customer, but went I was sorting out the cheques to pay in I could not find it. So after checking the car, all pockets and other places it could be, I thought I'd have to ask him to stop the cheque and write me another. So today I called round at his house, as I'm heading for the door his neighbour (another customer) shouts over the fence "I know what you've come for". I presumed I'd dropped the cheque outside their homes and it had been found there, but no!! I had dropped it in Sainsburys car park, the neighbour was taking the old guy shopping, spotted the cheque on the floor and picked it up. He said to the old guy "your not going to believe who's cheque this is!!" Of all the people who could have found that cheque what were the chances of the writer of the cheque and his neighbour finding it??????????????????
  6. I went last year, fantastic show, I had a great time
  7. The engine is stopped using air, was the air pressure up when you tried to stop it>>>
  8. Fortunately many of the organisers of these events have the foresight to take out "rain insurance", so many of their losses will be covered.
  9. No, that what used to be believed, big storm of 87 brought about a better understanding. The best analogy to use these days is a wine glass, if you look at the base of a wine glass in comparison to the top, the major roots of a tree are generally in similar proportion.

This one is Dadio before he got the skid loader for pulling.
  11. Terrible new Justin really hope things get sorted as fast as possible.
  12. Not sure I agree, he spontaneously said something he thought would hurt the other person in the heat of the moment, in different circumstances he may well have used the word "fat" or "bold". I would certainly not brand him a racist based on that single provoked response. Your comments on the other had are far more premeditated and deliberate and IMO say far more about you than any response made while angry and provoked.
  13. Not sure thats such a great idea, these calls are recored, an ex-England captain is currently in court for interjecting a persons colour between two swear words, even though that person had begun by insulting him first. Today you can get yourself in quite serious bother with the use if poorly chosen word. I find it easiest to simple hang up.
  14. Sounds like Alder, although Ash can go very pink when cut with the sap is up.
  15. Cheque???????? you fool , did you not read the text, I emailed all my bank details and transferred the clearance payment, looks like I'll be getting your share
  16. I've climbed 1000's, they are stronger than most live trees IME.
