  1. Just donated, a very worthy cause, really hope you enjoy the day too
  2. Sorry, I was joking, the Ash are generally the last to come into leaf, so none of ours are out yet.
  3. Yes I noticed that too, plus round here their mostly dead, not a leaf in sight.
  4. Got to say I'm in your camp on this one. I just don't think I could get on with one of these after using a 200HP, 9" roller feed for more than 8 years.
  5. Not sure (I'm no expert) but I would imagine a weak spinning coil on a running saw will produce a better spark than a weak coil just being pulled. Easy to test, just get warm and then remove HT lead and check spark when pulling.
  6. Coils sometimes struggle when hot, I think.
  7. Would most of those not affect cold starting as well as warm??
  8. If its new, its not due to be LOLER'd for 6 months for climbing gear or 12 months for rigging. Daily examinations are required and by rights should be recorded, but obviously thats for the UK.
  9. Spot on Tony, language evolves, its not created. The words, terms or acronyms that suit people best will be the ones that last, sure some will mean different things to different groups, but generally those group share enough common language to soon iron out any differences.
  10. I'm impressed that he used a smilie in his email, I always think of the Germans as very formal, I'm clearly wrong
  11. With people. Holland is taking steps to control it, just as we are Battle tactics - combatting oak processionary moth | Login | Horticulture Week
  12. Unfortunately our country is far more densely populated than the rest of Europe.
  13. Please use Arbtrader.
  14. Used disposable nappies burn well, with good calorific value, if its a real sloppy one the fire needs to be good and hot mind.
  15. A cut away is a small sling.
  16. IMO, £350, is way too much, I pay £200 including VAT and that includes vat returns, payroll, tax returns and working family tax credit etc. Also I'm not sure it's a great idea for her to become involved in YOUR business, if I were you I'd really try to get clean break.
  17. I don't get the need for this, I like my zz, I've simply used one of those rubber gizmos to prevent cross loading and backed it up with a cut away.
  18. Thats very good advice, its very easy just to sell every thing as fire would, to go to the hassle of separating out the better stuff you need to know your going to get a premium above fire wood price.
  19. I agree, in fact I prefer my 201 to my 200, sure the 200 has a little more grunt, but I find the 201 handle a better shape and feel its better balanced. I think you just need to use the 201 a little differently, it needs to be allowed to cut at its own pace, especially if your using the more aggressive chisel chain.
  20. I hear what your saying WorcsWus, but it seems the sister in law feels the "business" has high value and generates passive income, the only way she can been shown this is not true it to put it up for sale. A subie climber needs no identity but their own name, bank account and UTR.
