  1. Its Chinese and he can take it back for replacement. I have the exact same model for 4 years, mine did brilliant!
  2. But its not exactly on top of were the plug is and there is no damage to the plug!
  3. Hi, this damage has happened to my mates strimmer. Any ideas on the cause? Its relatively new and used it for about 3 times for 30 minutes each and failed to start by the end of the 3rd time? Thanks for help

I almost reversed over my cheap as s**t chainsaw with a trailer. Imagine it was a Stihl
  5. So it would be the same as a chainsaw low setting screw?

  8. Its a Chinese model and fuel was left in it all winter. And yes, fresh petrol being used!

  10. My chainsaw started easily after being out of action all winter. I done maybe 30 mins of work with it, then after 10 minutes of sitting i went to restart it and could not get it started. A few days later went to try it from cold and it started easy. Why did it not start again while warm??
  11. So if i maxed out the H screw (which I'd be mad too), then my saw would probably scream out load at 12000-13000rpm??
  12. Forgot to mention i would be using a tach!! Its a cheap Chinese one, yeah yeah, but it was dam dam cheap!!

    Exhaust

    My mate bought a cheap saw, good enough for his garden. When its revved hard you can see that inside the exhaust manifold that it is glowing very brightly and thought this may be a concern. We removed the manifold and shined a touch inside it and could see a mesh in the middle from both ends. It all seemed OK. Checked online and saw some comments on cats. Could this be a catalytic converter?? If so then it should not be a safety concern then, if that's the way it manufactured. But a couple of times we seen a flame burst out of the exhaust while running hard. I suppose it must be set a little too rich?? What do you all think??
