Personally I really don't give a toss if people take my quote or not.Every customer I quote a job for can guarantee that 100% of the time I will be trying to extract as much money from them as possible. Makes up for the time wasters.

Murupara is in the middle of a huge Forest.The gangs (one in particular in Murupara) grow alot of weed in the Forest. Murupara was a toilet in the late 90"s when I worked around there,there was a real devide between the guys who got up at 4am to go logging and the guys who sat around growing pot.

Just that there is no work there.I liked living in Reporoa,you could deal with the local Rangi's sifting your stuff.Murupara was a Mill and Logging town,but with the advancement of the Highway and better faster vehicles to get the guys to work.Most of the Blokes live in Taupo now.

Just down the road from that old logging gear is a big Mill,then this spent little town that seemed to be populated by tweakers.There is nothing there of note,better to spend the night in Ferndale. Avenue of the giants is worth the ride.Scotia and Rio Del,not so much.

"K-village" if your on the Radio to Waiotapu,most people call it "K-vill" almost like "E-vill".I lived down the road from there in Reporoa for a while.Used to get little Rangi's raiding our sheds trying to pinch things.
