  1. Is it a "Battle of the Mullets"?
  2. Its missing its Hood, you might find it lying about the Shed somewhere? The hood cover's the Engine.
  3. Looks good to me.I see a good job made out of a less than favourable situation.Thats as much as anyone can ask for.
  4. I think the growing conditions are favorable. Recently a guy was killed close to Bergen when felling a Tree. The Tree sat back on his saw and off he went to get some rope.Sadly the Wind my have pushed it over when he was walking away,it struck and killed him.
  5. They still use them back home in really sandy conditions, like on skid sites in Coastal forests. The Sand in the Bark is bad enough, but it wears out the Tip Bearings quickly. Try running the chain a bit slacker than normal, winding the oiler up and tipping some bar lube over the Bar and Chain if it really heats up.
  6. Rachel Nordtømme:Norwegian Track and field Godess.
  7. Here is a Forum for Brittish Expats Moving back to the UK : British Expat Discussion Forum
  8. I can't beleive people are complaining about a public works project worth Billions of Pounds. This has come at the best time possible. Companies who win the contracts will have to expand at all levels and this will create jobs, injecting money into a stagnant economy. Projects like this are exactly what the UK needs.
  9. There was one Jagd Terrier, a Beagle, and the other Dogs looked like Large Dachsunds. There were Pigs about, but no one Shot one.Saw a Moose but it we couldnt shoot them in that area,it was to far away anyway.
  10. None Matty.I just found it blown down in the Forest. At a guess,it would take a Box of Slugs to Fell a Tree. I feel an experiment coming on....
  11. Nah its a 12g.Sweden still sells paper Cartridges,I thought that was novel so I bought some.Propper retro.
  12. Yes,took the Meat home to Norway. Its no hassel taking a gun around Scandinavia either. The Forest is not so remote, where we stayed it was just flat and forested for Miles. Its like the reverse of Rural England, instead of Feilds you have Forest.Think of it like that.
  13. Last week I was lucky enough to be invited to go Hunting in Sweden. We hunted for four days and took a total of 10 Roe Deer.I was fortunate enough to shoot two.One with my Shot gun (and a Cartridge that turned out to be older than me) and the other with a Rifle. The Hunting was done by having the Deer Driven with little dogs. They chase the Deer round and round and if one Runs past your Stand then you shoot it.
  14. How about Terminating the Winch Rope with Replaceable Ferrules and using sliders and Chains. It looks like you have knotted the Ends of the Cables? Replacement Ferrules
  15. Stripping your Saws daily is a waste of time IMHO.Its a bit like changing the Engine Oil in your Truck every Week. I clean the Bar Rails and Flip the Bar each new Chain,Check the Air Cleaner Weekly and clean as required. I have alot more important things to do than fettish about with my Saws.
  16. Haha! The Bricks are Red Oak arn't they? And the Morter is of course Lime.
  17. Exactly. The more time you spend worrying about clowns like these, the less time you have to develope your business.
  18. Yes mate, same thing.well worth the Money.I have a Gas burner for it as well, but to be honest the little Meths burner it comes with is better for Cans of Stew. Storm Kjøkken is what they are called here, but your right they are made by Trangia.
