Looks like a test picture to me. There is no extrusion of the Alloy,rather it has fractured neatly indicating a liner over-load.If that had happened whilst attached to that rope in a work situation one would suspect visable rope damage. Had this occured in a shockloading senario via torsion,I would have expected some sepparation of the tow plates that make up the Zigzag. I call "Testicles".

Understood: But,could you not have a manual valve that allows a higher flow to the Track motors when higher speed is required?I used to use a Mini digger that has this feature.
