  1. They are for sale here in Norway.I had a look at one, didn´t run it.Wasn´t impressed with its construction, however the proof is in the using.
  2. Most of the work is not that hard, most of the work is not that dangerous. If you want hard and dangerous go to Canada and try to get on a windfirming or single stem harvesting crew. The danger and hardship are matched by the pay. There are many, many new starts entering the industry and climbers are not in demand like they used to be.The jobs are not that big,the prices put on jobs are not that big, however the costs of business are rising out of porportion to the income.
  3. Depends on the state of the Tree Ian.Some times its less dangerous to come off with the pick, than to stay attached to a compromised stem.Ie,split, rotten etc.
  4. England/Canada There are some Fresh faces in these pictures, hard to beleive some of these pictures are 15 years old.

  8. Get your HGV and Trailer. Bing, bong, lotsa jobs!
  9. Well..... The price you paid for it,minus the repair cost, would logically equal its value.

  16. Because I was sure I could get the Tree down without a Crane.Just like the old days.
  17. The Tree was in very Poor condition, the Root plate was lifting and had separated from the Rock face behind by about 4".There were also holes in the Root Plate that were longer than my Arm.And negitive rigging of that Tree would have been pretty dodgy. The car park was closed, the building vacant and the Beer tasted great at the end of the day.
