  1. Thank you Alec
  2. Exactly the man I need to talk to! Thanks Rich.
  3. This might turn into "Ians engine rebuild thread" looking at the colour and form of that smoke.Consider having it compression tested and the injectors looked at.
  4. I need to be recomended someone. I could have played the google game too, however the wheels are irreplaceable as the carridge is probably the last known one in existence.
  5. They will be used to an extent. Thank you for extending your offer but these need to right first time.
  6. That would be great if you could mate. They are more like Old Car wheels than Cart wheels,Metal Hubs with Brass bushes. Its all there, just the wood is knackered.
  7. I have two wooden Cart type wheels I need rebuilt.I have the Hubs,Tyres, fellows and rims but wood is rotten. Does anyone on here undertake such work or recommend anyone who does? These need to be spot on.
  8. I think you need to get out a bit more mate
  9. Why? Its an Air Rifle .
  10. Yes. That was the combat uniform we used to wear whilst pruning trees for the benefit of starving communities
  11. Never been that lucky mate. I was recruited to DART after passing my deep sea skydiver selection.
  12. I'm ex D.A.R.T.
  13. Fair enough mate £499?
  14. I'll take it for £500
  15. We are not in the SAS. Wind your neck in.
  16. One tidy Hilux that mate!
  17. Just enjoying exposing the lies you tell Ian. Nothing more than keeping you honest In a way like that Judge you told to "go ----k himself" that time you were in Court. Remember that story?
  18. Modest to a fault you are Ian.
  19. Oh ok,its just that I stumbled upon a article you wrote where you called yourself "one of the fathers of srt in europe". I just wondered how far back you began its development.
  20. Did you come up with any names for the redirects or systems Ian?
  21. How long ago was this Ian?
  22. All very interesting stuff guys. I wonder who the gifted visionary was who brought it first to Europe? Someone who might be considered the Father of European SRT? Probably someone quite obscure, just getting on with the job and never drawing attention to themselves.
  23. With the relatively recent popularity of SRT techniques,I am interested to learn approximately when it became well known in the Arb scene. Since many of the new techniques are often pioneered on the competition circuit,I am also interested to know why the technique has not yet been accepted as a valid competitive platform ?
  24. It should be hard though, then gripes like mine wouldn't happen Tom. Conceivably one entire crew could stand in for the day.How would the assessor know any different? Did Bartletts have a blanket AAC rating or were each and every crew assessed?
  25. I was surprised to learn that Company's under going the AAC assessment ,"ring in" more competent operatives from outside their company. This in my opinion erases any credibility as its akin to me passing the theory test of my HVG and calling in an agency driver for the Practical assessment.
