  3. Something from Dirk Lingens 110 cm of 6 mm rubber cord finished of with a twist, 45 cm 4 mm cord , petzl croll and a petzl ange s carabiner. Optional with a small rigging ring , connected to side D. don’t know if it’s any good just something i’ve read about.

  11. Just this minute came back from the shops 150-170 cm Noble Fir for 15 Euros. Maybe 13 pounds sterling.
  12. Just trying to say that the default felling cut here in Germany , is the Bore and release back cut.
  13. Seems to be the trend here in Germany. it’s called in German , Die Sicherheitsfälltechnik - Du bestimmst, wann dein Baum fällt The safety felling technique. You decide when the tree falls.
  14. I would be quite happy with a ms 241 and a ms 150.

  16. Do yourself a favour and buy a ms 150 . no more heavy top handle saws for me
  17. The sound of a 070/090 is real good.
  18. I learnt the hard , finished a job of in heavy rain. I was ill for 3/4 days. no money coming in. my next purchase was proper rain gear . it pays for itself.
  19. Keeping warm while climbing in the winter is difficult. Cold winds for example are worse aloft you can’t wear to much otherwise movement is impaired. Plus if you’re rigging a tree down , half the time you’re waiting for the groundies sometimes minus 15 here in Berlin. No need to be cold nowadays. if you have the right clothing. Or should we copy what Wim Hof does.
  20. Wears out too quickly for my liking. I’m trying woolpower now , it’s 60/40 mix. ( Merino/Nylon )
