  1. Pretty amazing how you get them dead tops to go over. Is this your most dangerous job yet. you spoil us with your brilliant videos . ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  2. With them being close to the house could be a advantage. I‘ve seen a massive Oak tree blown against a house before with no damage. Just because of its close proximity.
  3. I think you know the answers already Mick.
  4. 50/50 good and bad I would say. But like Tony Benn said , she would never go back on her word. just imagine on hard it was for her to come through the ranks of a old male dominated system. Many pick a fight with her , and i think most regretted it.

  7. Only 159 dollars, should be atleast 200.?
  8. The bending over position while using it looks very back friendly
  9. Maybe not so new anymore.
  10. Two oaks were meant to be felled because of a new tram system (Potsdam, Germany ) The felling was stopped because of a rare beetle found on the trees The course of the tram was altered. The trees are now dead , killed by the same beetles.
  11. Sorry for the cr*p english ( still thinking in German probably ). what i meant to say was . Oaks can only recover once after a heavy crown reduction.
  12. I‘m no expert, but i read or heard somewhere that a Oak will only recover from one large reduction.
  13. Try a reduction if someone will do it . I‘ve never seen a healthy Lombardy blown down before, there’s plenty here in Berlin. If the tree is rotten i would remove it.
  14. Strong handshake that’s for sure. Never saw anything like that before. I‘ll feel a bit overdressed tomorrow having watched that.
  15. Great video , especially the sound ( tree talking as it starts to go ). Exciting stuff.
  16. For long enough i used my self made system. I’m using the original PulleySaver now , but the self made one with the stiffer loop made a more reliable retrieval
  17. Ditch the karabiner and use a maillon
  18. Great team work. The husqvarna was cutting good. thanks for posting
  19. I’m waiting for the new petzl one
  20. That picture looks strange some how. top harness, petzl zigzag, best karabiners and a makeshift anchor system
  21. Here’s something to read , but it’s in German. https://baumzeitung.de/fileadmin/news_import/Schaedigung_von_Faserseilen.pdf I’m sure there’s a English version somewhere.
  22. Not nice to hear , but with all these members wishing you well. I’ve got a good feeling. Good Luck.
