  1. Andy, you need to get a belly, that will hold your trousers up! At least mine does.
  2. What do you think the LA think they are going to achieve by having this stance of "only so and so can do this work"? The question of liabilty with public funds and no recourse is screaming at me here!
  3. Whilst it is sad that this beast has been shot, I somehow think that Darwin's theory of survival of the fittest, now lets another Stag enter the gene pool. What I do find pretty abhorent is the cavalier attitude to other peoples sensitivities in the dumping of the carcass rather than using it or disposing of it in such a manner unlikely to arouse a strong reaction. What wassock has decided that his actions will help the Pro Hunt, Pro Countryside lobby shows the reverse of Darwins "fittest" theory. Prat and those with him do indeed need their knackers removing!

  5. Blimkey, someone spec'd that up! galvanised chassis, security box in chassis, loads of tool space then finished with it at 7k miles!?! Was all that about?
  6. Sweet! Love the questions too.
  7. I heard it was gonna be a par with last year - maybe slightly worse, but, yes it's gonna be cold and white!

    Jokes???

Ho Ho Ho...... Very good and thanks for the entertainment, especially the banking letter!
  9. Woodlandforsale.com:sneaky2: I fancy a bit of forest of my own - especially if I can build my home/workshop there!
  10. I did think about that tree monkey thingy, but, he ain't been on it for a bit, so I was hoping that someone was still in contact with him. I've a number for someone who was/is a friend of his so I might try her.
  11. Has anyone got any contact details for either Mike or Reg? Or if you are in contact with either, pass on my number or at least my best wishes to them both. Steve was a top mechanic on the TW range and Mike was running a good local business which served many well.
  12. Nice vid, but, as Deano said, loads of room, loads of kit too. That kind of job was standard operating proceedure to me, why fanny about when you can fell it! The grass/shrubs will grow back!
  13. you've cracked? she ain't happy!
  14. You might be able to buy the kit from Vermeer, you could make one yourself but the engineering skill level required is high (to do it right), and you may be better of buying a new chipper. Depends on the math.
  15. Terry Pope in the Swindon area used to have a contract for that and I believed that the bus was supplied for the job!
  16. Hey ScotsPine1, great photograph, typical risk averse american job - what happened to the stunt fell in one!?!
  17. Power Steering!?! That's for whimps and weaklings! Go on Slack, a project in the family is a good bonding experience, another cab may be available, a shot blast and a service and she'll be working! Oh, and some welding, wiring, new brake linings, a few new seals etc and she is as good as, well 40 years ago, new! I'd do it myself if I had a barn!
  18. imagine the row! 4 x 080 on cam!
  19. You could but my old truck and finish it off - then I'd have this mythical "spare cash"!
  20. Smart that, bet it took some practice!
  21. MUPPET! Should be slung out of the country for not being able to read a road sign and barred entry ever again!
  22. Oh, and don't forget the re-brand, new uniforms, new vehicle livery as advised by some management consultancy for a small fortune. "The Environment Agency" becomes "Environment Agency" at a total cost of £5million - everyone moves up a job except those paid by the hour!
  23. Try Global Sales, click the banner link. They go to Derbyshire on a fair number of occasions. I'll see if Outdoor Power Tools can get on in for you.
