    Yes my first 150 did it all the time once a day I would have to wash the tank with petrol and spin it up untill it started coming through. It seemed to solve it self in the end....

  5. I also try and back up an anchor in the tree at least twice , just in case.
  6. 16mm Sirius main line with an 11mm on the back of a rigging plate to pull it up or 14mm lowering line to slow it down on a bollard and use for retrieval.
  7. Re-juiced should be the standard spec for any reductions given by T.O's ,consultants and arborists across the land .... Long live the RJ. Shingles have calmed themselfs a bit so got on with working out the over cooling of my truck issues and solved them fingers crossed.
  8. I have the Pfanner and harkie , the pfanners are great but you feel like crying when they inevitably get damaged and the harkies are sweat suits but keep you dry from the outside. Now I just do what Ian does and get the cheap steins or the cycling jackets that I think it was forest and Arb had at the APF for £40. Light,breathable,weatherproof, cheap and throw away.

Agree there ,ours has paid for itself already cutting timber for a barn rebuild , farm fencing and more barn restoration projects in the pipe line it will save a lot of out goings and is rewarding as well also does not feel as criminal saving the decent timber from the processor About Two days of milling gave enough timber for this and it was not an awful experience like sucking in fumes and vibes off an Alaskan... Using a crane carefully is also a time saver for loading the mill.

  13. Spruce is not much better for wood worm , poplars a underrated timber IMO and you won't get covered in sap milling it.

  16. Had one years ago, not a bad lid until I chucked a log on it in the back of a truck. My only gripe was I'm not a fan of peltor visors or muffs that I find fragile in comparison to sordins.

  18. As Wolfy says and leave a a big as possible Evan hinge. Be careful with the teleporter as well , I once priced a large leylandii hedge felling job for a farmer very cheaply I will add and he decides to get his lads to do it instead as he thinks that is too much, so his lads cut through there hinge on a leylandii and it goes side ways taking a brand new manitu with it... Bent boom , cab and knackered engine and Farm insurance void because tree work was not on there policy... Strangely he asked me too finish the job off.

Not much fun on 4ft plus dead oak with thick flakey bark cutting rings to chuck down and avoiding targets ended up with a 460 on the harness as well to start the cuts and cut the rings in to quarters so I could actually move them. Was very happy when we went back next day with cherry picker. Great fun though throwing big limbs and tops on open spaced smash bash jobs! Still prefer a 660or 395 though on a 36".
  20. Unfortunately it's been out of stock from honeys for months they do have some thing simular that's not on there web site that I would rate though. Personally I would not waste time on any other cord than armour prus , you can burn out Sirius in one climb I have found.
  21. They end up sucking in the crank gasket. The threads turn to mush were the bolt vibrates on it when loose and it's doomed especially if you let me put it back together after spud doing the major work on it!

  23. Apparently it's just a bit bent and the clutch springs have gone!! The older 560's need there crank case bolts keeping an eye for vibrating loose and air leaks as there's only five, the new ones have six... Apparently it makes all the difference.
  24. Charlie h was one of the first people to get a 560 on here but it gone ran over by a duel wheeled valtra last week!! It's getting resurrected though.
