  1. Would of thought you are better sticking on 404 and using the torque to your advantage with the 880 john. I find them slower , but great for milling but they drink fuel and are heavy and not much fun to use up a tree hence why I would recommend the smaller saw. How do you find the 660 on a 36" bar next to the 880 John?.
  2. Once your 395 is out of warranty get spud to open it up port it advance timing ect and it will be the only saw you need. I ran mine side by side ringing up big hardwood butts against a 880 on a 36" the other week and the 395 performed noticeably better.
  3. Honeys did have some thing that looked identical well almost and was just a little more supple.
  4. 395 I would pick up over 88 or 3120 every time.
  5. Please put this on you tube /Instagram mate.
  6. Stunning bit of timber Bob !👍

You can still get 7900's? What is the anti vibe set up with them?
  8. Ok depending on size of poles and size of rope guide ... I have a snake anchor and pulley for bigger stuff or there is SRT... The rope guide choked hard can be difficult to retrieve.
  9. Would not climb DRT with out mate, keep your ropes clean and last longer as there is less friction but most importantly climbing is effortless and smooth... If you have climbed without it may take a week or so to get used too but I can't see why any body would go back.
  10. Are they the cast or bladed type ? We changed ours from cast to bladed ...was not much left on them but transformed the machine.
  11. Oh dear ... I might start climbing in a suit, shave my beard and cut my hair.
  12. That was my take on it as they would not tell us. That was why with every chipper brought since we did not bother, I am assuming now though you can track it your self with the new tech available.
  13. Also another problem with trackers is organised thief's have scanners... Still at £100 it's worth a shot especially if you can track it your self and not rely on third party's I suppose.
  14. They don't tell you though for that reason, it's between them and the police hence why I would not bother again for the fees unless some thing has changed??
  15. Not from mine , police will not go on traveller sites as they need armed response , helicopters and a lot of man power...I reported a theft and got the tracker activated on one within 20 mins once and there was no recovery full stop.
  16. Cheers martin that's a lot of postage though, I may try Barry josh.
  17. My 560 will not cold start with the brake on I seem to remember my old 372 didn't either, personally I would never even try and cold start a saw with the chain brake on, I think it's ridiculous its taught you should be anticipating the chain moving when starting and in a clear space any way surely??Can not be doing saw clutches or brake bands any favours either.
  18. Any one know of where to get big dogs for an 880,ours got taken off for milling and lost one, would be handy for this bar.
  19. Engine carb the same , bar mount and running gear I believe are the only difference.
  20. There will be people on soon to slate them😄
  21. From cold or hot? I would not cold start any saw with the break on ,no saw really likes it either..
  22. I would say a 7.5 tonner cris would get the most out of your chipper.
  23. Look after them , keeping the blades sharp and rollers helps, productivity and longevity of the machine. We have a 2002 150 that's still going strong , put a new bottom roller in there couple of weeks ago and it's like a new machine .... But very rusty ! Same with jensons if they are abused they will fail spectacularly as well, I saw one break up its fly wheel and bits go through the engine writing it off once another snap its axle in transport.
