  1. Any one know of where to get big dogs for an 880,ours got taken off for milling and lost one, would be handy for this bar.
  2. Engine carb the same , bar mount and running gear I believe are the only difference.
  3. There will be people on soon to slate them😄
  4. From cold or hot? I would not cold start any saw with the break on ,no saw really likes it either..
  5. I would say a 7.5 tonner cris would get the most out of your chipper.
  6. Look after them , keeping the blades sharp and rollers helps, productivity and longevity of the machine. We have a 2002 150 that's still going strong , put a new bottom roller in there couple of weeks ago and it's like a new machine .... But very rusty ! Same with jensons if they are abused they will fail spectacularly as well, I saw one break up its fly wheel and bits go through the engine writing it off once another snap its axle in transport.
  7. Was looking at the RB's a while back if you read the feedback on the ARRSE forum from troops who have worked on and used them it will put you off for life, You will not find not one positive comment.
  8. One of the guys I sub for has one of the prototypes so used it a couple of times and it's impressive I would say on par with a 190. The grease points are a great idea ,internally it's very well thought out with easy blade change with double sided blades the fans are steel and it has huge Greasable main bearings, double heavy duty springs for the wide rollers. It eats big lumps and crushes branches to feed well. If I was in the market for a machine for bang per buck I would choose it for sure.
  9. Still going mate. I marvel the bridge at wark it took 6 weeks to build over 100 years ago and in 2014 took 6 months and counting to paint!!
  10. Barrasford arms is very highly rated mate.
  11. Stunning views as always mate.
  12. You could do the social in stonehaugh ,won't open till 7.30 but beers cheap and Albert might make you an omelette if your lucky.. I'll be in after me tea . I'll ask my folks about the barrasford arms in the morning, I have not been there myself but heard them talk about it. If your going to humshaugh from barrasford be aware the bridge is shut in wark so chollorford is the only way across the N Tyne.
  13. The crown in humshaugh ,the rat inn at Anick. More west of hexham the general havelock. Or if you like a good curry the saathi in hexham itself. There's a few to avoid but on a whole most are pretty good.
  14. For a derail .... That's a very tidy site mate, low stumps or have they sunk along with the brash?
  15. There's plenty of machines disappeared forever in the bogs up here.
  16. Welcome home lads and lasses, despite every thing you were up against you did Stirling job and we are proud of you.

What's new?? I got your rant at troll as the pot calling the kettle black....
  20. Follow hodges advice ... If that's not how you have drawn up your £180 price.
  21. Pfanner protos 23 SNR ...my ears feel like bleeding every time I get busy with a saw or near a chipper if you forget your ear plugs. Emailed them about an upgrade and nothing ...
  22. I would pay not over £1500 but then I guess it's down to how much you need or want it ... They are not bad chippers used them at numerous times over the years the last one around 7 years ago as a main machine before I got a gravely and it felt an out dated and abused machine back then a far cry from the ones I used in the 90's.. Still a bread and butter machine at the end of the day and I would prefer one over a vermeer 625 for sure which off the top of my head is all I can compare it with, tw150 is on a different level ...Lister petter are pretty bomb proof though.
