  1. He used to pop in my local with ruby wax, big character in real life as well, RIP Alan . Classic film dogma , one of my favourite Rickman characters.
  2. Wow that's pretty special , I think there's possibly only 4 breeding pairs in England looking at the statistics.
  3. Don't entirely agree ... As fire wood suppliers we should be stock piling our supplies and storing them so it is suitable to sell at the wettest darkest time of year....if you can't do that the selling of wood not suitable to burn should be labelled as such. Totally agree about soft wood and local supplied timber though.
  4. Your going to have a load of super lights stuck on the shelves now Justin!
  5. A few more ... Who does not want that 200t !!!

    Dolmar

Does that mean dolmar will merge fully in to makita ?
  7. Was thinking of trying the husky ,I like the 150 for all those reasons but may stick with it as it's the weight that makes this saw despite the handle been a bit brittle. Could not agree more on the 201 though mate , first time I used it I was shocked just how bad it was for chasing cuts with not good results, to the point I felt it was not fit for purpose and just dangerous as a serious climbing saw, put it down and never used it since.Running it over would of been a better option though.
  8. SRT and a 560 you can't go wrong for tearing down a tree!
  9. Get what you can for it I would say , but that seems a fair price.
  10. Enjoyed that, nice work.
  11. Bowie always seemed kind of immortal , I guess his music will be but it's a sad loss as cancer claims another victim.
  12. Could they be REAL problems like sexual discrimination and harassment in the work place as there is plenty of that to go around in this industry.... I think the original poster just wanted to see some greased up shafts or an option for the women. Personally think it's as tacky as fook and I really don't like the company's sales techniques any way..
  13. You only need one hand to tend limb walking on the hitch climber , also you can use more advanced knots that won't bind up or slip as much as a Prussik can.
  14. And only the greatest prize the raffles seen !!!!!
  15. Looking forward to it , don't let it be too good as I'll be getting more !
  16. With some great prizes I keep getting drawn in to buying a few more tickets !
  17. For every day work you can keep your old school saws , bad anti vibes and emissions and bland power bands I'm all for any new auto tune or Stratto saw. Great for an occasional blast though....
  18. This does mean we will all have to go and buy more tickets though ... Looks a great prize !
  19. Giving up in October worked , I still massively crave cigarettes ! And once or twice after a beer I've got weak and had a tab but on a whole I would say it was one of the best things I have done ,The thing is with smoking is you always associated it with respetary problems/diseases but it actually effects your whole body and immune system and after a number of problems the doctors kept telling me to give up and I didn't but after re occurring problems I thought I would try and it's worked despite probably being the most unfit I've been!

    Dolmar

Hi Andrew , just a quick dolmar question for you, does the 155 share any common parts with the 166 ? All the best for 2016 mate.
  21. Not really looked at the tree hog harness before but looking at it now and for the money it looks good. As a sit harness I imagine it would be quite comfy so handy for getting confidence up in gear for beginners as there is not a lot of pressure on your legs but they definitely have less movement, but at least it had sliding d rings which are good for positioning and your kidneys

    Silky saw

Had a zubat for years Steve ,ended up on the natanoko it's a faster saw but to be honest I'll take the sugoi or tsurgi these days but always keep one of the natanoko in the truck as an all rounder , the zubat is in a drawer some where untouched since buying natanokos !

    Silky saw

Another for the natanoko , best all rounder I've found.
  24. Only thing I don't like about the AGT is the gear box in the woods as its on a straight slider, selecting gears can get tedious whilst trying to work in tight places. The other thing is if you want a winch for one only the small uniforest ones will go straight on with out mods.
  25. Sorry to hear this , it's not a nice feeling at all!! A few years back we had two containers emptied in the middle of the day , about 37ks worth of Arb kit my sister had just left to go to town as well , I could hear banging from about a mile away as I was out fishing, came home to a trail of bits leading to the containers and no tools. Activated the tracker immediately but if I had come back 20mins earlier I doubt they would of kindly gone away and luckily my sister was out... Left a very sour taste. They came back around 3-4 weeks later and I caught them smashing security lights with a catapult so returned fire with a shot gun but from probably a too greater distance ! They never touched for 7 years again and the next 3 times where done in the dark.
