  8. id just like to take a moment to put across something I been thinking on over the last little while consider how you are viewed from the outside. Frankly ive been disappointed by some of the posting content of some the members of this forum for a little while. when I became a mod of this forum I had a conversation about members posting with a fellow mod, his words were something along the lines of "would your nan want to read it?" Now, I ask what would your nans, mums, kids and wifes think about certain comments? This isn't the pub and as such don't expect to spend my leisure time reading comments that are more suited to our spit and sawdust establishments. Im not whiter than white but I do at least consider what I post on the internet, knowing that it will be preserved for all to read in the future, be it by your nans, mums, kids and wifes thanks

  19. I havnt got a picture of mine, it doesn't arrive for 2 weeks
  20. Isuzu dmax with a sensible deposit you can get reasonable repayments on finance
  21. You can either be a member at various different levels or aaac That is a two tier system, members receive magazines, journals and discounted courses whilst aaac receive other perks as well as the standard member stuff
  22. You read it, but but didn't understand it. I'm not interested in joe blogs who want a quick job at the cheapest price. Most of my customers have a two month wait between quoting and us doing the work. They are happy to wait because they want us to do the work. A lot of my work comes through the AA. But you obviously know far more about running a tree service than me so il bow to your ability to understand the general public and continue working in the bubble that I'm obviously in and shan't derail the thread any more
  23. Try reading my post correctly. There is a link to the aa approved contractors on most council websites or certainly on the ones local to me there is. That is the best advertising for me, my name and not many others direct to the people who a concerned about there trees and want a proper job
  24. not so much a comment as a question for me as much as the other benefits the AA are a method of advertising. it costs no more than advertising in a local rag for a year and is cheaper than checkatrade. my details are available to anybody who looks on the councils website, wether they live in my area or further away. it brings in plenty of work and has improved my company if you think its a boys club your living in the past
