  1. in 2 years of owning a grcs ive never used the bollard, always rig onto the winch
  2. really pleased with my sugihara bars of which ive got 3 now. the 13inch bar on my 346xp is used and abused daily by the whole team and is showing little sign of wear
  3. I think a compact tractor would be to big my boxer is versatile, it runs a grab, bucket, stump grinder, log splitter and mulching head

  5. I don't understand what you mean by driven by the back axle my crane runs off the tractor hydraulics, I assumed the hydraulics for the chipper would be driven by the pto?
  6. a couple of jobs recently it would have been good to have a chipper behind my valmet. id want to be able to crane feed it. ive been looking at the FARMI CH260 does anybody have any experience of crane feeding this machine

  13. haha me to the problem with pulling stuff with the grxs is you need stuff of a larger stem diameter to anchor it. plus the grcs is more likely to slip than a tiror if your trying to justify getting a grcs, just say I said it was ok
  14. depends I probably use a tirfor more for pulling trees over. but weve used the grcs to hold windblown trees while weve climbed them, then used it to pull the spar over several times

  22. you don't pay the VAT on gear bought on finance monthly, you pay it in one hit at the start
  23. will ive planted a few hedges, the last was with 3m western red cedar. we planted 300m of 2m western red cedar 3 years ago, we pulled a trench through with a mini digger after scraping off the turf and planted in a mix of decent soil and compost. we then covered the area beneath the hedging in woodchip to prevent competition and improve the water retention
