  1. I dont get your point Rupe? I would spend an easy day for 3 men on that job. If I did 2 a week, I'd take the rest of the week off. You would have to work 6 days to earn the same amount. I'm not using any more heavy kit (than I already have), apart from a crane hire, thats easily justified to make the job that much easier.
  2. Why does having a MEWP 'guarantee' no damage? It might make it a touch easier, but it offers no more guarantee's than a climber:?: Now a crane on the other hand, that would give you more security on the job... I could do the 4 trees in a couple of hours with a crane, a 20 tonne truck mount would be more than sufficient, and cost about £220. I reckon Dave's knuckleboom would get them with 14 meters reach...
  3. Great Video Tim. Like the sharp and fast editing, very non boring.
  4. 0%....
  5. I think there's a common theme occuring around the £1200 - 1400 mark.
  6. Yes, the chip needs to be very dry, but a briquetting machine works on direct compression extrusion, where as pelliting mills have rotary or circular compression devices.
  7. Briquetting is fairly easy. Its quite popular in third world countries, where you can use an old machine made from girders, spit and a big flywheel.
  8. £1250
  9. I have an old 154SE in the shed. The 254 was virtually identical. One of the best things about those era of Husky's was their superb robustness.
  10. Yes, a truly awsome little beast, I wish they still made them. That and the 242xp.
  11. NO REPOSSESIONS! But..... Give people time to pay. extend their mortgages timewise. do means evaluation tests. let people pay what their able. Anything but letting Banks get their greedy sticky fingers on peoples houses. AND NO BONUS! If you work in a bank, and still have your JOB, thats your bonus!
  12. Bad news chris. Could you post some pics so we know what they look like?
  13. The first video is crap! this one is much more interesting... [ame] [/ame]
  14. its got steps...
  15. or how about an F700...?
  16. Eh? Its bigger than any UK pickup...
  17. I want an F150 (worlds greatest pickup truck)with Cummins engine out of a dodge.
  18. Hmmm. Looks lovely, good graphic design and corporate identity - but its all flash based, so it wont open for a lot of people, and wont show up in search engines.
  19. Patrol is the king of the hill. I want a pickup version.
  20. Crane Even a trailer mounted palfinger would do...
  21. Navara is the king of pickup trucks. The L200 is mediocre - and the latest one looks like a prostitutes handbag, and the toyota drastically underpowered.
  22. Why not crane it out???
  23. The Iveco is good, but I dont think its rated to tow that...
  24. Lots:001_smile: But I'll take your Mog in PX
