  1. Good points both... I havent had time to video the universal grinder. The new machine would be the same chassis, but with its own drive. I'm interested in why you think its too cheap mike? I've not a lot to compare it too. How much is a predator 50?
  2. I use to retipp my rayco superteeth. Braze on new tips, good as new.
  3. Thats bollocks. The steel they use is identical to TW. If you ask simon, he has a collection of broken OEM TW knives. Timberwolf hate simon because they make such a large profit on replacement knives.
  4. Top notch guys. They use the best steel available for their knives. They make all our chipper knives and anvils for us. Call Simon and he'll do you a great deal.
  5. I'll occasionally work without Chainsaw pants in the summer on deadwood's and prunes, but always wear a hard hat + boots. Chainsaw gloves are a waste of time. To be honest, the latest PPE is so good nowadays, you'd be foolish or tightfisted not to wear it.
  6. For typical arb waste, a processor is not ideal. what you want is a powerfull splitter with a long stroke for breaking the stuff down into billets, and a circular saw for processing them when they dry out.

Cards are £17.50 for each type of assesment. I've lost mine and am looking at about £200 to get a new one
  9. I have a BIG splitter here for a very good price - brand new built for a customer who changed their mind.
  10. I did mine no problem...

    I love that tune too.
  12. filth, absolute filth
  13. yo squishy
  14. Poplars not that hard to sell. If dried out, its alright as firewood. I've sold poplar sawlogs before aswell. If nothing else, Homegrown will take it for chipping.
  15. Well Angelina jolie comes pretty high, and Danni Ashe probably wins. Oh best booTs you say?
  16. Too much info mate !
  17. Its good... but your stuck at 60" wide. might as well have a BIG stumpgrinder...
  18. After quite a few requests, and a firm order, I'm building a purpose built stumpgrinder. specifications are as follows - 55hp Yanmar 16v turbo engine live drive to the head fully radio remote control built in dozer blade slew ring swivel with 60" cut width, and 18" depth. and the new M1 cutting system. - http://www.leonarditreecare.com/M1/M1-Over.html and the best bit? Retractable tracked undercarriage, 26" wide... and a retail price of £18k Any suggestions?
  19. WHy the 8018 Rolla? I reckon the 7515 with the 35" width is far more practical.
  20. in the meantime, back to the usuall programming
  21. I'm working on the other two. I am a walking encyclopedia of mechnical knowledge, but I reckon Mike and reg from Prochip would be great additions.
