  1. The 190 has much bigger bearings. So you could say that the problem has been addressed. As a comparison, all the american, swedish, and german built chippers usually have lifetime or 10,000 hour bearings.
  2. Is this because the bearings are made from chocolate or plasticene? 'Good' industrial bearings should last 5000 hours if looked after. I mean, we're not talking about a lamborghini here, which has thousands of precision parts costing £200k+ and producing 600hp. we are talking about an extremely simple piece of agricultural machinery utilising a 35hp industrial engine. Does it need such special treatment as a result of built in obselesence?
  3. oooh ooh classical! Baggsy Faure - Cantique de Jean Racine [ame]http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=BwsReAKEI80[/ame]
  4. Chemical Brothers featuring BETH ORTON. its Beth thats makes that record. (Greame is quite good too )
  5. Yup. didnt see the bit where it said self propelled. probably an old 206.
  6. These are pro licenced Dean. They sound like the same handsets as you have. I've decided to fit the vehicles with upgraded CB radios, with 6ft arials we should get 10 miles in poor country.
  7. My Grandfather did that back in the 1920's on a GWR line. Was more dangerous back then as the Loco would drop hot cinders on you.
  8. No good mate, my teams are working up in the welsh hills, often 2 - 3 miles apart. I was told these expensive handsets were the best / most powerfull I could get, but we cant get more than about 2 miles...
  9. Ahh, a kindred spirit I LOVE Brazilian Chantueses (is that a word?) Check out CeU on youtube, my current fave. I've got the Bebel Gilberto Remixed Album - This is my favourite, 'Winter' mixed by NuSpirit Helsinki - [ame]http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=_EJc5Qb9018[/ame]
  10. I have had many bandits, and think they build a great chipper - but the 65 is barely acceptable. Poor engineering tolerences bug it on the infeed system. So the Rep at the show told you they'd solved that problem then? He's hardly likely to tell you it still sufers badly from it... I can give you a lot more info if you want, Just PM me.
  11. I need the best I can get for working in the mountains. Just tried out some Kenwoods, £200 for each handset - and the range still is no where near good enough. anybody got any recomendations?
  12. Sounds like a Vermeer 630B, quite a good old beast. Probably fitted with a Wisconsin 35hp V4 engine. Stumpgrinding is VERY profitable Ben. I have earned over £1000 a day on my own stumping, its another good string to the bow. If you need any help with the machine, you know where to come to.
  13. I saw Theivery play at the manchester academy a few years ago. Saw Kruder and dorfmeister in a club in stuttgart. Zero7 are very very cool... I remember getting that album without hearing it when they were very underground, just because it had Sia on vocals. Remember Sia with Different gear? Great track. [ame]http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=zci1P_BAADg[/ame]
  14. Yeah man, I've got the whole DJ kicks collection - Thievery Corporation is probably the finest, with K&D a close second. I mean, just how cool is this...? [ame]http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=ON-x1Oho91o[/ame]
  15. great tunes. love ninja records - mr scruff anybody? [ame]http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=MS_CLIF1h-o[/ame] I was thinking of autechre as a comparison to fsol too - but also William Orbits StrangeCargo... [ame]http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=LEBLy9OM8_M[/ame] [ame]http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=W2RSyl4trZY[/ame] Finally, love the Lamb track, but it reminds me of this deeply moving piece, The Symphony of Sorrowfull Songs [ame]http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=zKk-w_0SpSw[/ame]
  16. I like the 'uugh yuck' look on your sons face J.
  17. Its getting quite hard to obtain these compounds these days, and the mixing can lead to a short life full of incident. However, I find that the application of enough of these compounds can resolve virtually any problem in life, not just stumps.
  18. Theivery & Emilia Torrini [ame]http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=xviDq0Tgujw[/ame] Les Hommes - [ame]http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=3Ire6GollY0[/ame] Arkestra one [ame]http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=qKFw9zXM4Dk[/ame] Ursula1000 [ame]http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=1nb7zl2ZUyI[/ame] Peace Orchestra (used as title music to The Animatrix) [ame]http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=hZ28SypAk80[/ame] Kruder & Dorfmeister - SPEECHLESS! [ame]http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=OAZPPY6Rp0M[/ame] Tosca - Honey (awsome vid!) [ame]http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=akiLFsHZ0nY[/ame]
  19. Great minds think Alike J Love Cinematic orchestra, also anything on the 18th street lounge labe, (theivery corp, Les Hommes, Arkestra1, Ursula3000) the G7 label ,Kruder & Dorfmeister, walkner moestl, peace orchestra, tosca, sunsailor, lounge, bluestates, Bebel Gilberto, - love it all!
  20. FSOL? er, the Orb, Orbital, Strange Cargo, groove armarda, Sabres of paradise, are similar vein.
  21. Love Emilio Torrini, seen her live with Theivery Corporation ''keep on trying until the sunlight burns a happy hole in your heart...''
  22. you will... but you will generate a LOT of heat in the process:001_smile:
  23. I offered £10k an acre on 7-1/2 acres last year and was only half way there...
  24. Who??
  25. Of course a bigger pump will make it cycle faster. The ram speed is determined by the flow rate, i.e. how quickly the pump can fill the ram with oil. Basic Hydraulic Fact. Nice splitter - I would suggest you put soem cheek plates on it and a table grate. will save you having to pick up logs to re-split them. heres a pic to show you what I mean -
