  1. Try The Taijfun 380 / 400. Extremely good machine, well worth a look. Available from Andrew Holmes machinery. Want to sell your hakki? I am interested in something cheap
  2. Well what do I know about this business:rolleyes: Defence Facilities Management Services | Sodexo Landmarc Support Services
  3. 2 Companies do all the MOD work. Sodexho handle inside Bases, Landmarc Defense estates handle Training grounds.
  4. Nice work. Any particular reason?
  5. There is a decent Unirec for sale in the classifieds section. Looks like exactly what your looking for.
  6. nah. I got better...
  7. An Artic grossing 44 tonnes should be carrying 26 tonnes of wood. Your volume will very much depend on the moisture content of the wood.
  8. Blokes a nutter.
  9. There was a skill shortage 12 years ago when I spent 6 months there, but from what I can gather, there is no skill shortage now. I worked in Brisbane, and it was a bit like being in the Royal marines - damn good to boast about and tell stories, but flippin' unpleasant at the time. Scorching heat, poisonous insects, very big trees in tight locations, and a lots & lots of very dodgy operators.
  10. Mr Ed

    slang !

    I am LOL'ing at this.
  11. Could be that the bigger firm are much faster than you are.
  12. Is this a genuine question or a wind up?
  13. You do not need a CE mark provided it meets UK HSE regs, and the EU machinery directive.
  14. Only if you plan on selling it on. If it was for your own use, you need to make sure it meets EU machinery directives (they do), and conforms to UK HSE standards.
  15. That was true for early models, but later ones were significantly re-enginered.
  16. Oh yes sir!
  17. Suits you sir:001_smile:
  18. I have the skylotec - have tried the sequioa and prefer it.
  19. Both the stump grinder and the chipper that company supply are crap.
  20. Mr Ed

    Pop pollard

Ahh Poplar. Reckon we've killed more than a few of them Pete At least thse hybrids are nicer than Manchester Pop. Nice work, tight spot. I would carve the fingernails in the direction of the farmer, and put up a sign saying 'here's what we think of your deal'
  21. hmm. do you buy them bright yellow bags specially then?
  22. Thats excellent sales.
  23. If your planning on having somene make it for you, your better to buy one ready manufactured. It will cost you more in components and fabrication. I have built my own cheaply, but I already had a decent ram and valve block sitting round.
  24. Nice bags. Did you say you get £10 a bag trade? do you deliver or collect?
