  1. When you're preparing the meat, it is best to slice across the grain, the resulting jerky is easier to eat.
  2. You should get a little model cast up in pewter to remember him by.
  3. Let me guess, the winning bidder didn't realise it was at the bottom of a river?
  4. Sometimes if it's a big one they can fry for some time.
  5. Easiest way of cold smoking by far is a pro q smoke generator. You can even smoke in a cardboard box.
  6. eBay or Amazon she says.
  7. This is the one we have. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/232000149348
  8. Wife ordered it, I can ask her to order you one if you want? Tried a few marinades, don't like the really sweet ones but anything with teriyaki and or chilli is good. Silverside or brisket are good, any cheap tough cut but as little fat as possible as you trim it all out anyway.
  9. I've got a proper little dehydrator, you can do a good size batch in one go as it's got 5 racks.
  10. The only fainting on my jobs is when I tell them the price.
  11. A rare day I actually remembered to take pics.
  12. The seller can't even decide if it's a 250 or 350. The most an F-350 can be rated for is 14,000 pounds (6.35 tonnes) with a curb weight of around 7,000 You could tow a big trailer with it, but only if you fitted a proper drawbar hitch and air brakes, otherwise you'd be restricted to a 3.5 tonne trailer.
  13. It's what they're designed for, I do it with my multione a lot. Lift over walls and fences etc, bring the timber to the lorry and then lift it out.
  14. If you're looking at grinders with transverse Diesel engines then there won't be anything narrow enough. Why Bandit don't make a true narrow access machine now they've switched to hydro drive I don't know. They used to make a 29" wide version of the 2550 with a 29hp lombardini engine, but that's still not narrow enough for your needs.
  15. Unless there's tea involved, in which case come down, but it can take a surprisingly long time to pack the climbing kit up.
  16. Ironic considering dvla and vosa have merged into dvsa now.
  17. Anything as long as it's uniquely identifiable. Braille if you want! The guidelines say you can engrave either the gate or other non load bearing part of the carabiner......
  18. Ring them up and get a settlement figure. There may be penalties for paying off early, pays to read the small print.
  19. Manufacturers must give a life expectancy, so if you have that available it's all you need for age. If that isn't available then it's down to the inspector to make an informed judgement, and for that purpose there are guidelines give, ie 5 years for textiles.
  20. Perhaps you should get a hedge fund?
  21. Should have got your Aussie fabricator to weld a card up! Bit of 3mm Ali chequer plate would do nicely.
  22. Haven't seen many 2 metre tall dogs lately!
  23. Delicious sliced thinly and fried in butter too.
  24. More likely the teeth were blunt.
  25. I have a lube shuttle pistol gun, works well one handed and no mess when changing cartridges. Are you looking for food safe food lubricants, delivered to you from Devon?
