  1. Better in what way exactly? I have used both, and would buy a Hobbs first for rigging big timber.
  2. 50 metre? Wow, never even seen one of those. Did you take it all the way up?
  3. Iv used a 30m tracked Teupen, decent machine when it worked, ok on grass although I would suggest some boards if you want to turn. It is a big machine though, you wont be tracking it through any garden gates.
  4. Yes please!
  5. Ah, thats where I'v gone wrong, it now plays the entire tune in 1.4 seconds, but uses 4 AA batteries every 8 minutes.
  6. Its ok, all fixed now. Usual story, brought in as a rush job, total failure, client upstairs screaming his head off. Turned out to be fuel starvation, good clean out and some mods, now it runs beautifully at 13,600 rpm. Not very soothing though, but thats not really a problem as the client fell asleep before I could reassemble it.
  7. Anyone got the IPL for one of these?
  8. Measured it on my screen and its 4 and a quarter inches.
  9. No, but I'v towed with the auto in the past. The D40 Nav auto is quite thirsty, but the auto box in the Isuzu is a 5 speed, so it shouldn't be far off the manual.

You just have to pluck up your courage and ask it out, dont try any fancy chat up lines.
  11. I would rather have an auto for towing, no clutch to burn out.
  12. 3 legged ladders are much more stable than 4 legged ones, plus you can get the third leg into all sorts of places a normal ladder wouldn't go.
  13. Certainly does, I did that virtually on my own in just under two hours, without really breaking a sweat. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  14. Husq 560, Stihl 441, and 660.
  15. Most likely is you need to adjust the amount of chip your putting in. Try tipping it empty, if it wont fully extend you need more oil, if it tips all the way empty then you need less weight on it.
  16. Tidying up a bit of broken willow pollard this afternoon.
  17. I use it fairly regularly, usually excellent service and the postage is often quicker than UK sellers.
  18. Shifting it isnt an issue, it will look lovely on my logburner this winter! Given the lack of interest thats probably where it will end up.

  20. If you go on the planning portal and put the address or postcode in it will tell you with LPA covers that site.
  21. Not right now, might have some coming up though.
  22. Not at all mate, good to see some of the things you can do with it. Some of the bigger stuff will mill for sure.
