  1. Ranger single cab 4x4 is best in class at 1340kg.
  2. Stihl don't sell a 42" 660 mount bar in the uk. It will run a 42, preferably with skip chain, but if you've got a 3120 sat there you would be mad not to use that.
  3. Got any research or manufacturers advise to back that up Wolter? I am not aware of any research or other evidence to indicate whether petrol has any effect on ropes, therefore the only advice I can give is to bin it. I would probably still use it personally.
  4. Plenty. Make sure you prep the weld properly, nice clean metal, grind the edges back if you welding thick material and make several runs. Does make me laugh when people recommend stick welders because they will "burn through all the dirt and rust". There must be a welding forum somewhere with advice to buy semi-chisel chain as it will cut right though all the dirt at the bottom of trees.
  5. The new Paslode guns are supposed to be really good in cold weather.
  6. If you don't want gas then arc is the only choice. The modern inverter units are really good, and will run from a 13 amp supply. This looks good, I have the plasma cutter from this range. IFL i-TECH 160 Inverter Arc Welder - Weldequip
  7. Yes that's a Pro Tipper special, in 3mm aluminium. Weighs the same as the standard drop sides, but holds 9.3 m3 to the brim. In practise I only fill it to 3/4 capacity, any more and the chips start bouncing out. It does hold a lot of rakings and clippings. Not cheap though, there's a lot of ally in there. Looks good sign written too.
  8. Here's mine.

  16. The pop would mill up a treat though Alec..... There is between 10-15 tonnes I would think.
  17. Crappy little hedgerow stuff, 6-7" max diameter. Alright for firewood though.
  18. If you advertise a phone number I don't think its unreasonable to expect it to be answered during working hours.
  19. Thigh pocket, Bluetooth headset is always on, manage to answer most calls straight away.
