Can I reply and, cough cough, wonder why our NI Security forces are still being accused of various "shoot-to-kill" incidents during our troubles, if I recall the world seemed to be aghast at our vile murderous Security Force tactics, when, for Gosh's sake all they had to do was ask the terrorists to stop and share a cup of tea!

Bang on!

The officers who shot the cowardly scum in London are total heroes, IMO. They thought these were suicide bombers. They must have thought they were going to almost certain death. 8 officers fired 50 rounds, they wanted to make sure those guys were well and truly dead.

Job well done I say!!!

Didn't really think about it from that angle, kinda makes me feel like a bit of a tool now

I'm not sure how true the info in the links is somewhere near the mark I would think.

As for pushing lawnmowers around a village it shows you know as much about how I do things as I know about collecting parts!

This is much easier[emoji16]

Nice machine. How far do you go with it?

Where's your local parts dealer/supplier?

The trouble with killing them means that they can't speak. Wouldn't it be better to keep them for a while longer, make them speak..... and then....

cheers, steve

Ideally they would get them alive, torture them and get information, but they could of and usually do have suicide belts.

The most is about 12 twelve miles most of it within 5 miles parts are between an hour and an hour and a half (round trip if they are not busy)depending on traffic. 10 miles or about 15 10 mile place is across town so I normally go the 15 mile one as it's normally quicker.

I wonder how the events in london would have ended under a Corbyn government ?

It's only recently (under Amber Rudd) that firearms officers involved in a discharge have not been subjected to immediate suspension from duty pending the outcome of an investigation by the IPCC.

Couldn't see Dianne Abbot doing this.

The way things seem to be going, we'd have more officers cutting the grass than carrying out their duties.

Now that would not be good for the security of our streets or for Richard who would suddenly have even more competition for keeping the wicket tidy!
