No

Andy at the end of the day if even the words of someone at the heart of the government throughout this farce doesn’t start people to at least question a few things then what’s the point.

most of Scandinavia avoided the worst of Covid because they locked down before many had it , also in Jan /Feb   very few visit those countries unlike other EU countries and especially the UK !!!                           I too have Doctors / Consultants in the family and believe what they tell me !!

I have a few good friends and family in the Health Service. One, an A&E consultant in one of the big London hospitals told me back in July that they had just gone into Code Purple status, (used to be called Code Black, but that's a whole other story). Something that normally only happens in the depths of winter. My sister in-law is an ICU consultant in a Midlands hospital. She's currently off work with stress, on the edge of a nervous breakdown unfortunately. Due to her department being crazily undermanned and having nowhere to discharge patients to.

Neither are paid enough, and indeed have too much integrity of character, to be participating in the mythical "Great Lie".

It's no wonder we still have so many excess deaths.

Well 42 as much as you try to belittle those whom have questioned anything from day one with wisecracks like “ mythical great lie” the fact still stands that a serving minister at the heart of government throughout the whole thing is as much as telling you they frightened the likes of yourself into meek compliance. Read back over the early covid thread posts and you will find references to a work colleagues mother whom is a consultant cardio vascular surgeon, she on the verge of retirement went back on the wards at the beginning of the covid farce( due to surgery being suspended)  and has maintained throughout that the over reaction, the nightingale hospitals, the MSM and government propaganda etc etc has been nothing more than an utter disgrace and waste of billions. But as with Mesterh and his mocking I don’t expect you to ever acknowledge the fact you might just have been a tad overzealous with your defence of all the crap put in place for the past two years. As an aside here I am knowing dozens of people whom have had covid pre and post vaccination of all ages including myself twice, and the reality is I still do not know anyone whom has died because of covid. I don’t care about the actions of the  likes of yourself or others that bought into it wholeheartedly and without question, what bothers me right here and now is the current state we are in and the fact that a huge part of it was totally avoidable if people had just stoped and thought about much of what was done and where it was heading eventually.

The current madness you see regards energy prices being hiked would be exactly the same with water meters if implemented. Be careful what you wish for, essential services such as water being an even more profitable business than it already is  ( masquerading under environmental credentials) for companies that only has one driving force ie profit is a dangerous road to go down. As was the case throughout the last couple of years of stupidity a targeted sensible approach and educating people has to worth a try rather than sledgehammer nanny state approach.

Water? A natural resource like oil? Why should they charge for the provision of that?🙄

I am rather interested in Neil Olivers thoughts.

Aye, I totally agree with you, I'd really like to see people of his calibre running Scottish politics rather than the corrupt numpties that we're stuck with... but I don't ever see A dumb cluck populous voting for anyone with an intellect.

Aside from that I wouldn't wish a fate like that on Neil Oliver who's commentary and common sense have been one of the things that have buoyed me up during the madness of the plandemic, cheers.

So mull you of all people ie a full on left wing socialist snp bollocks supporter thinks  metering water would be a good idea. Talk about awkward for the sake of awkward. On this one I think all compulsory use of meters would do is give water companies the chance to make more money. Anyway check your council tax bill you will see you already do pay for the provision of it ffs.
