Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety

I'm sure the bereaved from this latest atrocity take great comfort from the fact that Mr Abedi's liberty remained unimpeded right up until the second he blew himself and their loved ones to pieces.

Honestly, that's a prime example of the sort of bleeding heart liberal bollox which has gotten us in to this mess.

Ok. Here's a curve ball.

The British intelligence service knew about the Omaha bomb. They were warned it was there.

Our military let the civilians die (100+) just to use the incident as leverage in negotiations.

Read your history.

Last week or so,

German military officers

Arrested while planning a

"Muslim attack",

Dress up as a Muslim, let off bombs.

Then blame other muslims.

Check the BBC.

So all I can say is stop being so naive children.

The world works on levels most people would never fathom.

As an aside, if we are prepare to use troops on the streets then should we use them in places that the regular police seem to view as no-go areas such as traveller sites?

Damn right ... problem is they still could not do anything with out effecting some ones human rights they can't even have a war and kill the enemy with out ending up in court these days.

So you're saying that it's the UK security services that planted the bomb?

How about all the dozens of other attacks as well? Were they done by security services as well?

I think the problem many people have is that they've spent the last decades attacking the "right wing" for being "racist". It now turns out the right wing have been right all along.... It must be hard to accept that you've been wrong for so long and been defending some evil ideologies...

I remember seeing a film about the aftermath of WW2. It showed German civilians being shown around a concentration camp. The civilians were laughing as they walked in, when they walked out they were visible distraught and crying. I think Manchester has been a similar "light bulb" moment for many people.
