I completely agree. After doing the mod on my little echo years ago to take the ms150 i have been looking for a way to run the 360tes on .43. Thanks to Rob D my 360tes is now on 3/8 .43 and the differance between that and standard .50 is surprising to say the least. It completely changes the saw

 

Which bar and chain is that Coletti? I've seen oregon 90 chain is 3/8 043, and a 10" oregon bar that may fit the echos, but be good to know what your 360tes setup is. cheers

The chain is stihl although I'm not sure which one and the bar is a 12" sigihara pro light with multi mount, I believe it also comes in 14" and 16". Just have a word with Rob D at chainsawbars and he will point you in the right direction

Yep now that people have tried and seem to be liking may well feature these saws as an ongoing option in both 10" and 12".

In around 5 months (September) will have Sugihara bars (pro lams) to go on these which should then complete the saw!

Interested to try a rope grap on a saw strop, sounds like a good idea. Wild country ropeman or something like that? I think kong even do one that works on tape.

I used it for a while, but went back to high-clipping because this needs both hands.

If you are driving 3/8 lo pro chain you can switch to a bar that takes 3/8 .043 which gives a very fast clean cut.
