Road rage horror

Just tried to compose myself for a rant. No real structure to this - I'm still stunned.

An old acquaintance (from my cycle club days) was stabbed to death two evenings ago following a small collision (in his car not on his bike) in Worthing. He was in his 70s and really laid back guy.

What kind of person gets out and knifes someone?

Why was he carrying a knife anyway?

Madness! Utter madness!

When people bump into each other in the street they just laugh and apologise.

Why on earth do people react so viciously when they are in their tin box?

Good job guns are so hard to get hold of over here.

God rest yer soul, Don - goodbye.

Utterly shocking and sad story. Some people out there must be carrying around a huge amount of latent anger in them - add instability to the mix and here is the result. Really sorry to hear this.

Totally agree, Rob. There are a lot of very angry, confrontational people out there and driving seems to heighten the aggression for some reason. :001_rolleyes:
