wish id taken the day off......it was way too hot today, i feel like crap now!

Now sitting on a fly tipped chair in the shade on a council estate job. We are thinking of asking the boss to let us go early and make the hours up on a Saturday. It was too hot at 8am never mind half 12!!!

 

we got their in the end though mate, regardless of the chipper packing up...

 

can think of a better word for where we were than a council estate!

Like those 2 willow pollards we did last summer where your chipper is kept, I remember it was something like 32 that day, hard going!

I had a fairly easy morning but then got bored of doing nothing in the afternoon so decided to go split some logs, according to my boy I looked like a beetroot when I came in , wasn't really my best idea but I hate doing nothing.

We were spraying today. We normally wear paper suits when doing path edges but boss said it would make us dehydrate more than normal so just wore waterproof gaters over our boots. 5 sites done before we ran out of water. Must have drank 5 litres of water today. Now urinating like a flaming race horse lol.

Normal day here, three jobs, back to the yard by 4.30... home!

 

I really thing you have to pace yourself and drink plenty of fluids. Mind you though, my idea of pacing yourself is to keep going and you can have all the rest you want when you get home.

 

why prolong the agony..? get it done, get it chipped, get home!

Easy day here, just finished. Snipping and pruning around an old ladies house (was gonna say garden, yeeeuw!!) handtools only so relaxed and plenty of cold drinks. Its hotter here at home now, chillin under a gazebo
