Curious to know how many hours folk work these days, in years gone by 3pm was a tea break before bashing on until 5.30-6pm. Seems to be packing up time these days.

Unusual for us to work more than 12 miles away. Not much time spent travelling to and from the job. Also, not as much energy as I had 20 years ago, and accidents more likely when tired. So for me shorter day is good.

I try and plan jobs to be off site by about 4.

The earlier the better.

Always job and knock, but I’m not running big crews.

There’s always maintenance stuff to do back at base and weekends, but I enjoy all that kind of thing.

I'm "away from the house" usually 11-12hrs but a lot of that is travelling to the yard and then between sites.

Get a proper job 😁 You have to make up the time you spend with that Thai bird 😂
