Went in TK max on the weekend, nice orderly queue with masks and distancing on the way in. ‘Security’ person with a clicker keeping count. Store was only allowed 91 people at a time. Once inside not one person had the slightest awareness of personal space, let alone social distances. Most people were wearing their masks half way down their faces. Utterly pointless..

In America... statistically you have a 99.8% chance of full recovery if you catch Covid....

Yet, schools stay shut. The Governor of California says that they won’t open until things change... (!?). California has had zero child deaths and just one teenage death. Which begs the question.. what has to change??

You can’t

Go to school...

Open for business

Meet family

Go to church etc...

But You can

Go to the casino

Protest march

Riot

Burn businesses

Burn bibles and churches.

If your a doctor and what you have experienced makes you want to step away from the current alarmist, fear-mongering, control narrative to speak out- then prepare to be de-platformed.

I don’t have much of an axe to grind about face coverings.... if they help, then great....but it’s all the political agendas and control issues that get my back up..

Here in good ol' Blighty the government have driven fear into people, and its backfired. They are telling people to get back to work, send your kids back to school. Listening to the callers on the wireless today it ain't going to happen.

Look before you leap springs to mind.

These people who go around in shops not wearing masks looking for confrontations, thinking they’re a modern Rosa Parks or something.

Gets on my tits.

Face covering police by proxy! That’s “special!!”

Just in America ?

I think it’s pretty close to that everywhere. Stubby.

It never seems to amaze me, the wide variation of the value placed on human life, depending on where and who..

This letter was in the Telegraph last week from two surgeons who said they had not worn masks for twenty years as in trials it had shown no benefit and may have caused harm in some patients post op

Alan Alda wore them in M.A.S.H  that's good enuff fr me pal.  K

I'm not going to comment on whether  requiring facemasks to be worn in shops was worthwhile, I have donned one twice to go shopping.

However a surgeon or dentist wears them for entirely different reasons, to prevent splashes being inhaled. Mind I was most surprised when my dentist started using them 20 years ago and wondered what had prompted it at the time.
