if people can keep putting forward suggestions what they would like to see on this directory it would be very helpful. Also if anyone has any high quality images, I will be needing some!

Are iphone/instagram photos good enough quality?

I might be in if it works out better than the directory I'm on that seems to have a lot of old adverts and won't let me update it.  I like the idea of us passing on each others details say if I'm to busy or the jobs to far etc.

Original iPhone images should be, but will probably be better emailing them to avoid loss of quality

And any other saw millers reading this...

If you are interested in joining a national saw milling directory?
Have a look at the previous post,

Who's in?

I would be in, thank you for the consideration.

though i a lot of the time i  would probably direct my customers to the site as i dont have enough time to mill my own timber!!!!!
defiantly a great shout.

if nobody has a problem discussing it openly i would be interested what people charge for say cutting large longs 1200mm+ with a double headed chainsaw mill.

its a 2 man job, machinery is generally needed to move slabs etc. the ones we have done in the past have either been really local to my existing jobs and machinery or we have actually tied milling a tree with some landscaping etc.

Regards, John
