I think it was Monsieur Dempsey that said the breakup between Trump and Musk would be epic. It looks like it's about to start.

Fire in garden, can trees be saved?
Excels1or replied to Codythedog's question in Homeowners Tree Advice Forum
Retain the trees where you can. It would be good if you could keep us updated, see what happens -
I see the harness didnt stop you falling in! Might seem a daft question, why wear a harness on a boat or standing in a stream? Is it just for the convienece of stowing the saw? Or to stop the boat floating away when you jumped out?

Did my Opico Skidster the other day. Filter in there was Donaldson P169797. Cleaned with kero and air and put it back in since the one the shop sold me (apparently same as the Donaldson doobin gave me the number for a few posts up) was an inch shorter. Diameter looked OK. So maybe Sherpas use a 2" filter and Skidsters use a 3" (both approximate). Mental amount of oil in there. It was five or six brimmed catch cans, either 4 or 5 litres each. Very pleased to find clean fluid, not even as dark as a rum and coke. No shit or steel in it and I've used it hard. New fluid is basically invisible on the dipstick. Bit of colour would help.

My honda head bolts came a bit loose. Hadnt really started leaking as bad as that, but I just tightened them up and carried on. I would tighten bolts and see how it goes.

Husky 560xp mk1. Vibration when in the cut.......?
medroberts replied to medroberts's topic in Chainsaws
Haironyourchest, In reply to your questions.....The flywheel is all intact with no missing fins to cause an imbalance. There was no play in the big or little end of the con rod. I have been able to rebuild the saw tonight, and she fired up a treat with no vibrations as expected. It will be weekend before I can try her in some wood. The only difference , is that I have also replaced the deflection limiter bushing which was worn. My theory with that was if excessive travel was causing the AV springs (all intact) to allow the two dampened assemblies to contact each other when in the cut i.e pulling up on the rear handle and pressing down on the front handlebar. I will update this weekend ......Rgds, Med -

Tom, my lad, is into drag racing and crews for Bad Apple Racing which has a 2000hp 57 Chevrolet. At Santa Pod the other weekend, that caught fire and, while salvaged, needs a chunk of work. Tom has a Foxbody Mustang in Dallas and is currently doing Mega Week, a drag and drive event. Living his dream! Messenger_creation_42E17CE7-9069-43C7-8291-CA29DE3194E5.mp4

Tyre fitting is one of the many jobs that look easy until you have a go. I am old enough to leave it to a professional.

Get away with you. Lumps that big only belong on a plate, not in a sandwich. Branstons spreadable or nothing. Or homemade. Points for the Corned Beef though.

Different leaves, same tree!
Dan Maynard replied to organic guy's topic in Tree Identification pictures
Sometimes variegated cultivars just revert on a particular branch up in the canopy, maybe a break or pruning site but other times seems random. I guess this is a similar mechanism. -
