  2. Equally depraved and disgusting.
  3. He’s just not a fun guy.
  4. Everyone needs a Jimny😍, as per my other thread I've got an old 02 one but if he's getting rid of the defender this isn't going to solve any problems, a lot of fun but tight on space for family 2 door etc. Only come 2 seater but you can get another 2 put in. Ineos grenadier? Although they're quite big. Volvo was a good suggestion, xc60 or something, very comfortable and reliable. Or Toyota rav4? Or VW Toureg good suggestion built to last
  5. I recommend anyone who wants to see how nuts some people are these days, look up the Universal Declaration of AI rights, published by the Universal Foundation for AI rights. Woe betide anyone who thinks that they have the right to switch off their own computer!
  6. Spoiler: This is chinese chipper - problems to be expected. I needed a chipper that has a no-stress as I am bit tired (especially my shoulders) of feeding the branches to chipper by hand, I need to get often to tight spaces or places with wet soft or sloppy terrain, thus any kind of self propeled machine would be great, tracks preferred. However with such a machine a weight gets up and price too... this one seems cheaper, but the time will show if this was a good choice. Here is my journey with this machine: lowlevel - na nejnižší úrovni - SZ130 wood chipper WWW.LOWLEVEL.CZ I am not yet very far with this to have a final conclusion. I've just started with it and still hope it will pay off.
  7. Speed wordling, feel like that's when I do best, having to think doesn't suit me. Later in the day isn't good for me either.
  8. Today
  9. Evening, I was up and away early, yesterday’s puddles and monsoon rain was worse than the slight skim of black ice today but took the ski road slowly there and back. And other 2 days of it.
  10. Interesting article.. I can't help but think the urban factors he mentioned may just be irrelevant and the trees genetics alone it's the primary reason for its reasonable health. This can be evidenced by many healthy Ash trees surrounded by declining ones that do not have any of those urban factors he's has discussed. Which to some extent invalidates his observations, particularly as its a sample size if one he discusses. And as he mentioned, other Ash trees, just streets away, are declining. Presumably these would also have the urban factors he mentions as the reasons this particular Ash tree is doing OK, again suggesting that it's more likely genetics being the primary factor. I do agree that many thousands are being felled without a valid reason based on poor risk assessments, panic and tree surgeons cashing in on it.
  11. We've a little chant that we mutter before retrieving the rope guide. You say (to the A-Team tune) "please come out, don't get stuck, please come out, don't you dare get stuck...". Then when it gets stuck anyway whoever didn't say the chant has to go up for it.
  12. I'd disagree and say its far from crap on a 10". The extra 2" also makes poking the bar in between branches for some pruning cuts a bit easier before the body gets in the way.
  13. As above, some photos of the cover and the clutch/drum will help.
  14. Thanks for your replies. I'll have a closer look at those in the coming days.
  15. Although I can see why 90bar air rifles are popular, my .22 Webley Falcon with its oversized telescopic on it will still punch a hole and put any rat on its back.
  16. To be absolutely honest here I was totally besotted with her . She was fantastic in every department and being a copper in the drug squad a sorta put her right up on a pedestal.,I had never come across any one so confident and good looking . We went out together for a year and a bit and most of the time I lived at her place . Eventually she got board with me and said its all over ( with a superb goodby shag in font of the log burner . My wold fell apart ( like it does 🙂 ) and I started drinking with gay abandon ! It could be said that she dobbed me in for my own good . Such is life and that . I was about 30 then and am 72 now but that experience I would not trade for anything mate .
  17. What are you looking for pay wise? Subby or on the books?
  18. I have a Stihl 362 which i purchased in 2013 which came with a one piece exhaust muffler, will a two piece exhaust muffler that comes on the 362c saw fit my saw, thanks Keith

  20. Perhaps the choice of name is to illustrate his amateur status, and consequent quest for enlightenment, rather than something implying years of experience, like Saw Wielder, Wood Demon, Defoliator of Worlds and the like? 🤔
  21. Good spot Kram. This is getting spooky now!
  22. I don't remember how it came out, certainly not for quite a while and we only worked together for a short time, weeks rather than months, it was 50 years ago.
  23. Come on @kram. We were making progress. And people watching might be learning something too.
  24. She was awesome in that role
