    Prune.

Makita was one of the first to do them - the small hand held and cabled types, with a horrendous price tag and small jaw capacity too! They were not the telescopic types though, just hand held. Chinese ones have better capacity.
  5. As much as little is needed , whole tree if I have too… but I’ll look at it like if I am using it it’s usually because what ever is compromised , obviously you would not be dumping half tonne lumps on it without a bollard too… but you can rig a crappy ash on it safe that your it doubling the loads on your rigging points and when you get half way in to decent timber put the lumps with a wrap on a device on bottom too… if you had too.
  6. Is "both" an option?
  7. It was 😉 And good morning Arbtalkers 😊

  12. STIHL has expanded its sprayer offering with the launch of the SGA 60, designed to combine operator comfort with automatic and precise liquid distribution. Built for groundskeepers, landscapers and gardeners, the model removes the requirement for manual pumping, delivering consistent pressure throughout the spraying task. Providing a working pressure of up to 4.5 bars, the SGA 60 uses the STIHL AK System battery and features a 15-litre tank capacity. Its five nozzles enable users to tailor the spray pattern depending on the application, whether applying fertilisers or other solutions across a variety of areas. With a quick-change feature, professionals can choose between single, double, quadruple, fan-jet, and adjustable modes, ensuring effective coverage specific to the application. Ease of use is at the heart of the SGA 60’s design, with straightforward pressure controls, an intuitive ON/OFF switch and a clear battery charge indicator. Additionally, padded shoulder straps, back support, and a hip harness evenly distribute weight for minimal strain, allowing for comfortable use. The 2026 addition arrives as STIHL celebrates its 100th anniversary. Since 1926, STIHL has defined the global standard for battery and petrol-powered forestry, landscaping, and residential gardening equipment for professional and domestic users. 16. 5G does not get through trees very well, or the coming 6G is even worse at this, so the BS about the trees roots damaging pavements in places like Sheffield etc is just that. On the one hand they love trees and on the other they hate them for preventing us from being exposed to their shit... imo only obviously.
  17. Edited to aggrieve less.

  22. 3.5 tonnes... suspect this is total weight too, probably what they can recover. A tipper with 5 tonnes of chip in the back will need commercial recovery. Though "if the tipper is used for business purposes", as opposed to all of us who have a tipper for domestic reasons? might be able to argue that since all tippers are for business use this clause contradicts the earlier ones which the headline says they do cover? (Edit before anyone gets arsy, hands up anyone who uses a tipper solely for personal use and never as a business vehicle?)
