  2. I too have some experience of deer, Get a chest shot wrong by 2" and you will not be tracking it far, 50 yds or so, nothing an average dog couldn't find in heavy cover in under a minute. Get a Head shot wrong by 2" and the results are horrific. You will never track it and live in the knowledge it took a week to die. Why be clever? Just not worth it.
  3. 32 and u crying, it’s called burning out , time to change profession, short brake in to the UKRAINE obviously will help you realise how lucky you are and possibly resolve all snowflake problems you think you have! !!’…….

  5. Possibly, but it shows that you know nothing about deer control apart from a quick troll across the Internet to find something to confirm your bias. You bring nothing, and when confronted by facts that contradict you all you do is divert in one way or another because you've been rumbled.

  7. We'll see.... floating voters have to be convinced to go against the grain and vote for a black woman. She does have some of the aggression needed to succeed though
  8. Really? Apparently you didn't spend enough time, came back for a check and an edit: "Posted 14 hours ago (edited)"
  9. Stihl MS261 and MS460. Both saws got clogged up and I had to flush out the tanks, lines and bar oil pumps inside the saws. I had done this before, so its not through lack of maintenance. Its the pretty standard ISO 100 stuff. I admit its a bit odd, they have been fine since I thinned out the bar oil.
  10. just changed my car - no CD Player WTAF?!!!

  13. Morning all, Couldn’t find the morning register by looking for “today’s posts”, had to do a search for it. Regular hedge then fell a dying Rowan.

  18. I would have said that it depends on the "waste". Ex FIL got trailer loads from one mill and it was off cuts and bark etc which was stored outside so was very wet. He didn't get the argument that he should have been paid to take that crap away! I got a bench to go on his old Fergie, got the thing working and collected long lengths from Belvoir sawmill and spent a while slicing these off, good exercise and I could put crap into a barrow and put it on the burn heap rather than log shed. It was too much effort for him and I wasn't there that much so we went back to the crap logs! The stuff was sold as "sawmill waste", not as "firewood" as this has to be below a certain moisture content to be sold!

    Makita DUC150

Missing the point, Im not going to replace my 2511, UC002 or 020T. These pruning saws are supposed to be quite a bit smaller and more compact than a top handle, and I do a lot of work where that would be a great help. The Makita UC029 is a lot bigger than I expected, unsure how much use it will get. I'll keep it anyway for the free battery promotion. I have the UC002 which is a great battery saw and similar total weight to the DCS2500. Its a bit bigger, half a size up, more power and better batteries. Much better than a 2511 for removals, feels like double the power. Chains from ebay or amazon. Or you could put a fancy Stihl picco 1/4", but nothing wrong with the standard chains. I have joined some to use on my 2511 before...
