Worse than labour pain!

And then there's those people who simply relabel the £30 saw and sell it at a closer price to the £530 saw. the old saying of "you get what you pay for" isn't as accurate as it once was.
-
Don't worry I will.👍 Its currently one of these filters, fine metal gauze with a blue sponge inside, both parts washable in soapy water. If I can get it to seal properly now, I will replace like-for like.
-
I think its to do with price . If you ask them to make a saw for £30 they will . If you ask them to make a saw for £530 they will oblige also . It wont be the same saw .

Greenmech quad trac I feed roller not working

Personally my first check would be any safety features including the infeed especially if it has a hinged safety switch. -

Greenmech quad trac I feed roller not working

Are you getting voltage on the fwd rollers inside the white RDS box? -
Just buy new filters- I change mine on all saws without max flow kits every year or so. Small investment for an expensive bit of kit

My take on oriental manufacturing is it’s all in the QC. They’ll do it right if a white man tells them they’re not going home until they have. The more legit Chinese shopfronts like Loncin I imagine have hired western managers who won’t let shit out. Or perhaps will let shit out to markets with lower expectations. Example: I bought a box of cheap drumsticks. They’re rubbish. The grain runs out on ALL of them, so they break. They’re the reject pile. The straight grained ones were the QC pass and mine were the QC fail.

In fairness to councils there is a hell of a lot of admin and organisation needed to run an election. I've worked for local councils many times on local and national elections as a Presiding Officer and on counts. It is a big operation even for local elections, yes a lot is carry over but new temporary staff have to be recruited, trained and security checked and often places used as polling stations are not available so suitable new ones needed. Printing schedules are tight as candidates need to be selected, nominated and vetted and that's only just started.

OK. South West generally. Same question.

I know £100 just feels a bit much after what Ive already spent on it. This thread prompted me to clean the air filter and try and fix it. I found that the mesh insert was out of shape and preventing a proper seal at the bottom. I also temporarily patched a hole in the metal filter with epoxy. I'll see if this stops fine dust entering and then replace both filters.

Cornwall and Pembrokeshire as well.

I do wonder sometimes, surely they just roll out what they did the last time? And the time before, and the one before...
-
I wonder.... pots and kettle and so on. Still doesn't change your post of a small minded man attacking another for past health issues, lying in your post to say they are current health issues.

Good morning Arbtalkers 😉 Hopefully some better weather today 😊

I keep a small ring on one of my ropes for the purpose, pop the knot through the ring and a biner to lock it. Thats not going to be nice with a mechanical as it would sit on the links. Spliced eye rope is no problem to put it on when needed, but it'll try to fall off at every opertunity. I do plan to get one but I will likely stay with a simple prussik for stem work.

I'll try and get a better pic, but the upper of the two safety flaps could get bent if caught under/inside a connector like the quickie and then loaded with body weight. Of course if its set correctly then its fine.
