  1. Past hour
  2. Well, the 'base' model Harrier 56 has the Loncin 'GTS' engine, the BBC and Keystart models have a Briggs engine, and the PRO models have the Honda GCVX engines (as when asked as part of a pro consultation forum, the Honda lump was the preferred option for pro users)
  3. In fact it applies to various commercial jobs I have had. Only reason I took this on is one of my good regulars is a teacher there, and there is also a large lime to take down in the Easter holidays.
  4. Right then ladies and gents. I currently have a eu46 pair of zamberlan walds that I have found uncomfortable, just ordered next size up, it's no better. I took the insoles out and stood on it, my foot is off either side so I think that is where my issue is. Last pair of boots were the Andrews cervino woods which had plenty of room up front but were very painful on the back of the heel when you were on anything other than flat ground. I am unsure where to go next. Any suggestions on boots with a roomy toe box? X X X
  5. 8kn (Koreans) is equal to one small labradoodle.
  6. Will be if you trust that rating! 😆

  8. Facebook WWW.FACEBOOK.COM Well, got it back, and as the mechanic forewarned, it dies in the cut. Its a worst case scenario.
  9. Sum Ting Wong?
  10. No I got the joke, most farmers have been in farming for a long time and diversify into tree work where I am kind of the opposite.
  11. I wonder who tested the biners to come up with that value?
  12. It’s good to see you have something to get your teeth into and keep you away from the rape obsession, This your new self appointed role SP/TA Arbtalk anonymous agony aunt. 😂😂😂 Mark must be loving this you discussing his mental illness and health issues every day all in order to try and get one over someone, pretty sure the original post was to Mark but you seem to have taken this one over. See below for accepted norms in regards treatment of genuine alcoholism. There’s also a good deal on heavy flow fanny pads there for you too 👍👍 It's important to remember that a former alcoholic even if they have been sober for a long time, is still in recovery (there is no such thing as an ex-alcoholic). Recovery is a lifelong process, and the person will need strong support and encouragement every step of the way.19

  16. Got some mini accessory biners, red 8kn are from amazon, £11 for 5. Compared to a full size. HB had 14% off at weekend. Last autumn another climber cut 11m off my first rope being careless, down to 26m. A bit too short, so thought I'd replace it. Other than being cut, its lasted well, I like the rope so got the same, Liros Reef. I'll splice the ends myself. Also got this log peeler device. I've had some customers ask me about carving big logs/high stumps and this should make quick work of it.. However I dont like the design, I'll be modifying tbe shaft/cutter holder before it gets attached to a saw.. I do not like relying on spring washers which will also suck all the power, rapidly overheat and destroy the bearings the way it was assembled.. Loosely assembled box of parts!
  17. If you have a supply of pallets can you use stringers to give corner supports to a mesh frame, a 1m pallet will give just under 1m3 capacity. Fix 3 sides of the mesh and the 4th side bolt onto the 2 adjacent supports, come time to empty unbolt it and empty. Get it right you should be able to make them stackable like this too.
  18. Yes quite a lot of variables. Done by me they fell out most of it leaving a few pleachers and then bank it up. Done with machines they don't half gip on!
  19. Definitely, I don't think oak sapwood is good for anything other than firewood.

  22. Thank you all so much. Some useful knowledge and information in those thoughtful replies. I was watching closely for replies during the first couple of days, then I got a little distracted by the blessing of minding grandchildren. Our daughter has also announced that they intend to build right beside us, which is a source of much joy for us. But unfortunately much as the son in law and I ogle traditional Oak framed buildings, we both allow in our persistently wind driven wet Atlantic climate, that such a building technique is not viable. The clue would perhaps lie in the complete absence of any oak framed buildings of any age, here in N Ireland, quite unlike swathes of England. Cheers, Marcus Btw. Am I correct in thinking that the framing needs to be the heartwood, and that any exposed sapwood will rapidly rot. I remember oak sleepers on a project some years ago, and the difference in behavouir wrt weathering between the heartwood and the sapwood was startling.
