  1. Good job my Mrs aint seen or read any of his posts.... she’d tear him a new arshole!!! [emoji1528]
  2. Racist towards emoji’s now too.... fucking top class bloke you [emoji122][emoji122][emoji122]
  3. I live in a “quiet respected neighbourhood / town”...... a work colleague of mine from our night shift had just started work at 8PM and i’d just gone off shift and gone home. At half past 8 just cracking top of a can i got a phone call..... could i run across to said colleagues house as his partner had rung up all distressed. She had heard noises in back garden and upon going to investigate she had seen figures stood at the back doors trying the handles to get in!!!! I went across to find her in a quivering wreck, i reassured her things would be ok and the messers had gone and her fella would be home any second too. (They had two kids in bed upstairs at the time) I started to return home, (150yrds away) and i heard rustling from an old boys garage roof?!...... went to investigate and found 5 teenagers with rucksacks, metal bars and neckachieves part covering their faces. Now me being...... quite to very capable of handling myself thought..... hhhmmmm... hows best to play this one? As 5 against 1 is clearly a loss (wish vesp was with me [emoji6]) i kinda called them on it and said whats the crack?... what ya playing at? Three of them were all apologetic and said they meant no harm, the others were dead cocky and arsey! My mrs could see what the crack was through living room window looking down the road so she rang “the police” took 50 mins for a bobby to arrive, never landed at our house where the complaint came from and we never got a report back to say what had come from the “investigation”!!!!!! Still to this day we think WTF??!!! My work mates mrs gave a statement as to what went on whilst in her quivering state..... still to this day she never got an update or outcome on the little sods!!! ?????[emoji35][emoji35][emoji35] So to the likes of a major incident like Grenfell, to a lesser incident like above (but still intimidating and scary to some)......... yeah your police attendance times and actions are not “just” but SHITE!!!
  4. Was renovating my latest house purchase back in 2012, i ripped the old open staircase out and rebuilt a new one. The original treads were a real dark red grained wood, wouldnt put them down as mahogany, but a real deep red colour.... i’m clueless with wood types and names ??‍♂️ (something i’m trying to improve on) but when sawn they produce a real fine deep red dust, and if split, they split dead straight and almost brittle like, but christ its a hard wood in general with some mega heat output when put on the fire, burnt em all tho, as had no other use for them. Other than the beech i acquired last year i have acquired most of my burning material is from work, usually pine and imported soft woods used for packaging and crates. Other than that its the usual phone calls from local farmers to cut up a natural damaged oak, ash, beech, all burn great for me after a proper times seasoning.
  5. I bought an induction motored table saw from axminster, cracking table saw with side elevation for the angles but the fence supplied with it is pants!!! Will adapt something like you have when i get round to it but everything is up skittled at home at min till i get my new man cave built.
  6. Just come on ebay now, you would obviously need to ask your general questions but looks pretty tidy. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F202495275665
  7. Off ya go again! I have a tow hitch..... 12mm thread, screws in to front of my van......... i’m being towed off........ cos ur boring me! Again!!!!
  8. I read the subject..... have no idea on it...... so take a step back, read a little more, listen to comments of others (not yours) and try to grasp the concept of whats being asked or spoke about. From it comes criticism or resolve. For me i class it as a learning curve for myself. Obviously i cant comment on a lot of the stuff cos i have no clue, but i’m intrigued all the same, and willing to learn at the same time. HOWEVER..... you really dont help yourself, an answer on every eventuality, occasionally you have some really rational and genuine input, but other times (most of the time) you really do blow it out the park........... give it up!
  9. Less of the damn!
  10. Full DeWalt here, have 18v XR kit, drill, impact driver, planer, circular saw, grinder, jigsaw etc, no issues at all. I got the “XRP” drill though cos it has the metal gearbox, standard XR are plastic. Highly recommend though [emoji106] standard 12 month warranty on all plus accessories, but if you register them online within the first month of purchase then you get 3yrs warranty. That applies to some accessories too. Each and too their own tho.
  11. I have a Stihl 026C and Stihl 018C both featuring the quick chain tension system. Never had any issues with mine, i’m not a pro and not a heavy daily user but the two saws have both done some work on the quiet. I have occasionally had to re-adjust the chain tension, but only ever put this down to chain stretch, as usually it is a good hour or so in to cutting with a new chain. Hope you get a resolve.
  12. Euro star is looking good [emoji6] nice mini break, bit of site seeing, get a bit of ale on way back too [emoji108]
  13. Sorry pal, cant really offer an answer other than...... [emoji15]?‍♂️[emoji110][emoji97][emoji97][emoji51]
