  1. Chuffing hell Gaz, theres five different brands there.... his heads gona be spinning [emoji39]
  2. Mr Storrs and Mr Hairy-Front, thanks for your suggestions on the ash vac, purchased one from Lidl today and have vacuumed my fireplace and fire with it already. REALLY impressed, small, compact, has a filter blow through function so keeps itself sucking at a proper decent rate. Didn’t fit the wheels, i have no need for them, wound the dog up a bit with the blow function too [emoji190][emoji39] would recommend to others too [emoji106]
  3. That was my jist felix, if his mate truly was a mate ?‍♂️
  4. If your MATE who rang you about the job in the first place was really a MATE then he would back you too, as you stated in your earlier posts that the job / price was discussed between the three of you, including certain conditions i.e to take down limb by limb as he didnt want ground damage. I’m with Felix, the bloke wants squeezing on it, call his bluff, stand your ground. And your comment about the workers overhearing you stating he doesnt want to pay should go ahead too.
  5. Used/borrowed the dewalt site lasers before now which are a good thing, but quite expensive to buy, and the dewalt distance lasers which i found hard work to get the hang of but they worked, but again theyre expensive. Nothing too conclusive there for ya soz, others may have better knowledge [emoji106]
  6. I’ve sworn at them whilst being stood by them if that counts? [emoji2]
  7. ??‍♂️ you and stubby sat together int ale house by any chance. [emoji6]
  8. Obviously the worst things you can put up a “vacuum” are, ash/soot, building dust/sawdust so just want something that can manage it all and not break prematurely, dont mind cleaning filters out if thats what it needs. [emoji106]
  9. Yeah yeah... blah blah... yada yada, a sucky upy thingy then stubby [emoji849]
  10. As title suggests really, have been using an old vax that we used to use for the cars etc but its getting tired and obviously isn’t really fit for purpose. Any one use or rate any specific types, brands etc?
  11. Chuffing 2nd hand prices prove your point spud, i’ve had my eyes peeled for quite a while but they just go for crazy amounts [emoji15]
  12. You fibber you.... i spot a stihl on the far left! [emoji6]
  13. Looks like you’ve just shit out eggs [emoji6] mr bolam may have a point ??
  14. I’m a stihl man only, and by no stretch am i a pro, but have cut a fair amount of wood in my short time. But there are plenty of guys on here that could prompt you in the right direction of husqvarna options if you wanted.
  15. 026 is about 2cc’s less than the newer ms260 i think, but i feel personally that the 026 is better made. I’d go for the 036/ms360 over the 034/ms340. Weight is negligible but more power is the obvious. I have a very clean 026C running an 18” bar with .325 chain which a few people on here say is too big realistically for that size of saw, but it works just fine for me and has cut up some decent sized stuff. Whats your budget? And do you favour Stihl only, or are you open to other brands?
  16. Superb! Where were those taken?
  17. Nice one, shame cos we love unusual man made stuff. Send some pics if ya do ever make owt again tho [emoji106]
  18. Another one just popped up on ebay, looks tidy, and priced better too. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F253942318339
  19. Sorry to hear, 35 mins from us, will keep eyes peeled at local market this weekend, you got serial numbers of em at all? May help if anyone spots anything.
  20. Hell fire toadster, not good to hear, hope you’ve caught / got on top of it early enough, can be a bugger can that.
  21. Thers this 026 on ebay at min, has had previous work i think i.e non original choke lever fitted by looks of things, obviously would have to ask if it has a genuine top end or not like spud mentioned but apart from that its hard to say. Looks cosmetically ok, strong money for its age but again, a good solid genuine example will fetch a premium i guess. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F332845727971
  22. Them fingers and fumbs look like they’re part of a ham-fisted hand [emoji39]
  23. What you doing with it? Your name suggests you create and sell? Is this the case?
  24. The badge!!!
  25. Aggie is nearly 10 now and slowing down quite quickly, just over 2yrs ago she was diagnosed with nasal cancer after she suffered blood spotting and loss from her right nasal passage which led to here being scanned. We were told she would probably remain with us for a further 18 months or so. Shes still with us 2+ yrs on and is full of the joys everyday like normal, i personally think she had a nasal infection of some sort because the smell she had in the beginning with the partnership of blood etc (it was vile) has long since gone and her nasal passage is clear again, where as when she was first diagnosed she could not breath through her right side. But hey...... i’m no vet, shes still with us thats main thing. We’re not having anymore though after she has passed as we want to start jumping on planes and seeing more of the world.
