  1. Afternoon stroll with the pooch again today. Looking back across the disused skirethornes quarry at grassington [emoji108] And one tired old lady ready for her bowl of gruel [emoji190]

  5. A friend, I use that term loosely Is she your “special” friend eggs [emoji6]
  6. Get em posted, OSM tatty or not tatty, thats what its all about, last tractor we had before we left farm was a DB996 and up until a few yrs ago when dad got ill we still had a MFTE20 1952 yr i think it was, all original apart from seat that i had to weld as it rotted in the centre outwards, i played “chase the worm” with it, looking back i should of plated over it with a circular piece, but hey ho! ?‍♂️ there is a thread for arb tractors, post em on there [emoji106] kinda took this thread sideways.... sorry guys, my fault [emoji119]

    Habitat piles?

I have one in my garden! (Only because i filled both my log stores up [emoji39]) it’s attracted and housed a hedgehog for a night so cant be all that bad can it?!! Will be getting split up shortly as i’ve used a little bit of my wood from my store now [emoji106]
  11. Anyone need a tree chopping up beginning of november? I’m doing my chainsaw ticket last week in october so i should be all legal by then! [emoji51]
  12. Does sound very plausible [emoji106]
  13. Scratching my ring just thinking bout it bing!
  14. Bet that was entertaining [emoji108]
  15. Painted that one really well Khriss [emoji15] thanks [emoji39]
  16. You get your answer Jim? [emoji6]?
  17. Hey Steve, may sound stupid but can jo public take to these tip sites or is it business use only? And if so are they a free drop or you pay for the privilege?
  18. Webasto are far simpler set up, the ebers are prone to plug failure, are very temperamental and ba*+¥#ds to clean out proper once they’ve gone tits, smell awful for ages afterwards, was just a thought! [emoji106]
  19. I’d certainly of carried on if it had blown down the opposite way and landed in the field not on the track [emoji6][emoji51]
  20. Hey Paul, been around saws for years and would say i’m pretty competent but not a pro by any stretch. I have cut quite a lot of trees up for people previously but not been in the predicament where the public would come in to such close proximity. Was pretty sure i’d made the right call on this one, but i guess others would of carried on regardless. I do enjoy it tho [emoji39]
  21. Heres one for ya egglett! 12v Webasto / Eberspacher night heater, plumbed up to a small external diesel tank, running off a deep cycle leisure battery coupled to a split charge relay and solar panel rig. Run itself on daylight even in winter time and uses next to no diesel too [emoji106] and do same with your camper, cost you less in diesel than it would in mains electric i rekon
  22. Hey Stubby, so for example, i was offered a large ash tree to cut up off a farmer friend of mine a while ago, but the tree had come down on a heavily used public footpath / bridleway that went through his land. I thought about it but did shy away from the job because i had no certs, no insurance etc and back then didnt really have any proper good chainsaw pants etc either [emoji6][emoji39] So would i have been ok to do it in the eyes of the law?
