  1. The house project next to hospital? Pass, they seem to throw em up, then people move in to some of em, then they stop for ages, till rest are sold then carry on again building more??!!! Its weird, its like they run out of money then wait for next pay cheque before they carry on again. Theres no lights or owt at the roundabout now, just sheer traffic hold ups! Not sure if theres some work going on on chatburn old road towards chatburn at min, not been down for a bit. Getting out on to A59 is a real pain in ass, if i’ve had to take a wagon out on test drive then i’ve turned towards chatburn and gone up side of shackletons garden centre to get on to A59, quicker by 20mins any part of the day at mo! [emoji30][emoji42] Where you at swinny?
  2. If you dont come up trumps with seddon for any reason, JB Weld is oil / fuel resistant [emoji106]
  3. Have you tried seddon plant at bolton? If you have the engine family number and engine serial number off the plate on top of the rocker cover then they should be able to source you what you want. I’ve took rocker cover gaskets out of them before now and cleaned em up thoroughly then put a tiny bead of silicon in the groove all way round, left it to nearly go off for a good half hour then reseated the original gasket in the groove on top of the silicone and refit and they’ve been fine. The odd one that hasnt worked i’ve put a full on bead of silicone in groove so it is just proud of the groove and let it go off completely, then fit rocker day after, obviously your relying on the clamping down of your rocker cover to make the seal. Those rocker nuts are like cheese tho sometimes so dont over tighten em. Seddon have come up trumps for me tho this last 3 years since i got told about em. Typically a 3-5 day delivery on stuff too [emoji106]
  4. Building shed loads of new houses round us at min, wouldn’t surprise me if we had more problems round and about yet still to come.
  5. Was on pimlico road, next road down from hospital, cut a lot of town off and houses heading out towards A59, chatburn, affected us on site at castle cement. Holes filled in now and main repaired, was monday morning, i drove through flood on the road on my way to work at 4:45am so must of happened sunday during night i rekon.
  6. We just had a main blow out a section of road in clitheroe lancs, shut half the town off (not kidding) left a 10ft round hole in road, closed two schools for day, shed loads of houses and hospital affected [emoji15][emoji15] Eggs, get some info off em regards water pressures, woody paul got a water pipe issue thats on going still.... [emoji6][emoji51]
  7. Thats brightened my day up [emoji16] big time! I thought i had a small cock! [emoji6][emoji23]
  8. Have seen some advertised for not too much money, maybe an option. But ideally i wouldnt mind mounting it in the top half of the wall, definitely above worktop height so the flue externally would be up out of the way, i would even fit a through roof flu if necessary.
  9. Seen a few articles and programmes with regards to plastics being ingested by us humans through our foods etc, the possible consequences from doing so sound very alarming. I love fish and all seafood in general but these are some of the worst affected sources of human foods that contain large proportions of plastic particles. Its a shame we cant do more to stop plastics causing so much harm.
  10. Shite that Stubby, time to get some cctv put up maybe. Police are chuffing useless for contacting these days and take ages to respond too. Social media tends to bring best results these days.
  11. Not for business just for personal [emoji106]
  12. Would only be for home, not business [emoji106]

    Look out!

Which track is local to you Stubby? Used to do a bit of racing / spannering about 10yrs ago, sold my last road bike for three windows and a door [emoji24]
  20. No panic!!! [emoji106]
  21. That was a short and sweet article!!! You wont stop it, it’ll just up the amount of thieving and illegal cutting down of trees and the like. How many people or authorities in all honesty, stop to ask the question “why are you chopping that tree down?” If your wearing hi-vis and have a pickup, transit or box van that half resembles a tree surgeons, gardeners, councils set up then people dont look twice. Thats the start and continuation of “the black market” as they call it. Time will tell i guess.
  22. Avtex do a lot of stuff thats 12v low voltage usage stuff, aimed at the camping / Caravanning market, very good clever stuff but expensive. Having said that, i’ve never heard bad reports on anything they’ve made, so may be one of those case...... you get what you pay for [emoji6]?‍♂️[emoji106]
  23. Just flicked on to caravan club now and they advertise avtex navs, they’re nearly £400-£500 tho [emoji15][emoji33][emoji27] I would imagine that any “hgv” promoted nav is going to be pretty good, i’d be happy paying £200 for a nav personally but £400 is too much in my opinion. Take a look at “trucknavs” just punch it in to google, its an 01524 contact number, Lancaster which isnt to far from me, hes an ex truck driver that has cottoned on to a niche in the market looking at the website, seems very reasonable [emoji106]
  24. I sold my van 2yrs ago to concentrate of finishing house due to job offer in cape town but i think it was the sn7000, but may be a better one on the market by now ?‍♂️ i’ll do a bit of digging for ya and post again [emoji106]
  25. We have tom tom in our fleet eggs, to monitor drivers locations, fuel usage, delivery routes, driving time, breaks blah blah blah..... AWESOME piece of kit and the actual onboard sat nav that the system is linked to in the cab it spot on too [emoji108] Obviously price wise to an individual like yourself is probably not feasible. I’d recommend the snooper navs, can programme your weights, widths, heights etc and the screen is a good size on em, caravan club do some promotional deals on em sometimes if your using it in conjunction with your camper and your if registered with that club could be worth a looksy for ya [emoji6][emoji106]
