  1. 2nd trailer was riding up on roundabout if you watch it, he’d be concentrating on his front left corner not touching the 1st outfit and not paying any attention to his own o/s rear.... hence the roll over, speed wont of helped but its up on the roundabout momentum thats turned him. Tractor tests are a joke, should have harsher tests and rules to abide to. Same with moped training. Lucky lad like woody paul said, could easily of nipped on hitch and rolled tractor over too.
  2. Sorry pal, that looks bloody awful [emoji37]?? (just my opinion [emoji51]) too modern looking for me. Looks very shallow in its body for breathing and operating if you look at the door line ?‍♂️ but hey, the proof will be in the burning and if people like the look of it then it may well be good for Stovax like you suggest. I’m happy with my stockton [emoji106]
  3. In ignoranceville by looks of it [emoji848][emoji849][emoji849][emoji51]
  4. You bossed your water job yet?
  5. Got same pump on my woodboss, my pump casing is cracked cos it broke a spring on clutch and grabbed hold! [emoji35] i ordered the later type pump but it wouldnt fit and oil drive was different, this one is constant drive from worm being nipped up against crank with clutch, the later one i received was driven from a nylon worm driven by the drum [emoji30] also pump body was slightly different so wouldnt fit inside crankcase housing [emoji30][emoji30] ended up just putting it bk on cos it did still work. Just didnt like seeing my saw with an incomplete part fitted.
  6. Hey lurkalot, its had a full carb kit plus diaphragms / gaskets etc, as above tho i’ve just ordered a cheapy carb off the bay, will keep you all updated with the outcomes [emoji106]
  7. Hey Bill, messed around a little with em but not masses, can generally get em near as damn it. This is one pig tho!!! I’ve ordered a cheapy carb off flea bay, will see how she runs when that goes on.
  8. Have tried two more new spark plugs just to rule them out, ngk and bosch to eliminate any brand differences if there are any and if they affect the saw in any way. Reset L and H back to factory, have had a very slight difference in performance by just altering an 1/8th of a turn anti on the L. Knocked idle screw an 1/8th anti too, pretty good clean response most of the time but will occasionally try and bog from initial press, and so on and so on as above thread states.
  9. Had the carb apart to check the throttle accelerator valve as suggested, all looks good but obviously it isn’t to say that it could be worn. Did take pics of everything at stages but my phones life expired and i’ve lost a lot of photo’s with info etc on them, gutted [emoji30][emoji24] So rebuilt everything and put some fresh fuel in, 6 pulls on choke and got the plutter, flick to half choke she fired, flick throttle and she idle’s sweet [emoji108] press trigger and its no different, sometimes it will rev out great sometimes it will start to bog then revs out fine, sometimes it will rev out fine but bog and splutter at top end!!! [emoji37][emoji35] driving me mad! I’m contemplating buying a cheap carb as a test carb for future, for the amount of use it’ll get from me for test purposes its never going to get worn out anytime soon, and if it shows a resolve then my bod can decide whether he wants to fit a cheapie or buy a genuine expensive one. Unless anyone else has any ides? [emoji6]

Your 300tdi will run forever!!!!! regular oil changes and good morning temperature build ups (let it tick over and get oil round before giving it any pain) maybe a water pump when the gland does the usual weeping when its getting ready [emoji106][emoji108][emoji108] old sluggers and a bit thirsty but tough as old boots!!!
  11. You cant compress a liquid..... maybe not, but you can compress the pipe which will effectively split the liquid in two stopping any flow. ?‍♂️ basic physics.
  12. You get sorted with water pressure issue?
  13. Looks good enough for ending the life of an old chinese tanaka or mitox!
  14. Thats fucking quality!!! ??[emoji108]
  15. https://www.lsengineers.co.uk/crankshaft-assembly-for-stihl-ms261.html Have a look at this page, will give you a good idea towards cost of doing it yourself, and all genuine parts too [emoji106]
  16. £160 ish for a genuine crankshaft if you feel like having a bash yourself ?‍♂️
  17. Good call billpierce.... i rekoned to look on L&S as i use them fairly often too but i missed it [emoji85]??‍♂️?
  18. Diyspareparts are doing OEM piston & pot for £180.78 part number 1128 020 1250 if that helps ya? Had odd bits off them before and had no issues.
  19. I just bought some caber rings for my 024 wood boss from US, couldnt get any in uk at all. Arrived today as it happens, only ordered them last wednesday at a total cost of £9.32 to my door!!! [emoji108][emoji108][emoji106] Get one bought, you’ll be reight [emoji6]
  20. Can you not rebuild your current 261 or has it done piston and pot too?
  21. Not sure on her name? Just got a whattsapp pic off a pal where shes holding the mic, followed by another whattsapp video of her “playing around” can’t get it across on to here tho ?‍♂️ pm me your number and i can forward it ya if you have whattsapp [emoji106]
  22. Thanks [emoji106] will keep playing, seen where it is through body... sneaky little sod! Might just do as you said then if its working ok for you up to now, just retune as normal then using tacho or any minor tweaks to be adhered to?
  23. Top man! [emoji106] will strip in bits and have a butchers, you had any experience with the aftermarket carbs? Reason i ask is i dont think this is a genuine carb as no markings or branding on the bottom plate as you would normally find? I would assume it should be a zama carb on the 181?
