  1. Unfortunately Fuel has to be in fuel rated containers, if there was a problem on the forecourt then the station would be liable. and yes they were getting funny about the amounts people can have, it was about a yr ago. the only thing I can say, go in and get what they will allow, then drive off and ave a coffee or whatever, then pop back in and fill the rest up. or go in with your mate and do it as two separate paying customers. one other thing, if they have a card payment at the pump, there’s not a lot they can do, and hopefully it’s in a corner where they can’t see very well.?
  2. Ask gobbypunk ??
  3. I’ve messaged @gobbypunk with the pdf, I’ve asked him to pass it on and I guess the next person he passes it on to can do the same ?????
  4. I have the pdf,, but it’s a bit fiddly getting it from one folder (iBooks) to who ever.. I found the links before but as with most things on the web they come and go.. so I cannot find any working links at the mo. But sit tight. I will see if I can find a way.. ie drop box or something. ?
  5. Not wankerstar.. he’s the best paid person for talking stuff he’s got no clue about.. I,m saying he’s paid to review, and he’s rubbish at it....? btw I liked him at first till I out grew his Knowledge and realised there were lots more qualified people to talk about stuff that he was trying to review. edit and those poeple didn’t get paid for the review ??????
  6. I will reply as best I can, can’t be bothered with quotes. i don’t think not going on holiday or not getting in a car has anything to compare with tattoos ? I think some tattoos are real nice pieces of art, but some are just rubbish. And if it’s on your arm it’s there for good . art is always about how you see it just like van Gogh and all the other famous artists, I have stuff that I like and stuff that I don’t . Really if you want have them it’s not my body it’s yours. you can do what you like, just like I can do with mine. ? I had a Prince Albert ??? I got pissed off pissing on my trousers, or having to sit down.. I can say I wished I never had it but it was fun in bed etc. But I don’t have it now. Can’t say the hole has gone but I,m glad the ring is gone. as for my grand dad, he told me a few things but most are a distant memory. And as most peeps say I should have spent more time with him and asked more questions. its probably 25yrs since he died.. he was a nice guy as a grandad, much better than my stepfather. ?
  7. I’ve told My son the very same story, he’s 18 soon. Hopefully he don’t come home with one like this ?
  8. I remember my granddad saying look at my tattoos When I was around 10yrs old, he was about 50yrs old , they looked lovely when I was in the army in India, we all had them. but they now look ugly. Every yr they look worse. do me a favour and remember this.. I did remember, and I remembered to look at them each yr when I could see them in the summer. i,m very glad I’ve got none whatsoever ???? so take my advice go look at some old peeps tattoos. That just may inspire you to think twice..?
  9. I think I will just get a 880 copy and change all the parts that I know are poor and have failed in the 660 clones... I know some cranks to go bad and that ant cheap, I know the carbs can be crap. I know the main bearings can be full of mag shavings, I know other things are a bit hit and miss,, but I know what I know.. and I see it as a project and would like most peeps and take a backup saw... and I would put it through some hard work with a smaller bar first. and I say this is only if the price of the oem 880 stays the same as it is now, if the oem 880 price falls then why bother btw I think the clone price will be around £500 give or take ?
  10. What are the carb settings you’ve set it at ? it could be as someone else has said, you have a air leak and tuned the carb to compensate and it seems fine at wot. or it could be the slight bog you can get after blocking off the accelerator pump. well mine has this, and I’ve had to tune the low a bit rich then I get a big puff of blue smoke if it’s left ticking over for a while.

  13. Just look on micks or a few others instagrams and see who they follow ? ??
  14. I thought that was the mods peeps did to it to move away from the 3/8 lopro convert it to 1/4 i guess a quick call to or look on rob d's web page will get you there ?
  15. Just take him outside and do this.
  16. I like reading everyone's opinions/ideas,, I have my own and see where it falls in the ideas. so some may think it’s wrong, but getting the council to do things is like having the neighbour from hell next door some times. I would just submit what needs to be done to the neglected tree by the owners of the tree, and see if they are happy and if a middle ground could be compromised. Take a good look and see if you can find any faults and highlight them. The rule of 25% has been forgotten for to long by them and is to late and to little now but either way asking if you can, and telling them you would like to rectify neglected tree. Are two different things. but really you shouldn’t have any probs getting access to do the job i look forward to the outcome ?? edit, which way is north and south. So we can get an idea of the reduced light this property is suffering

  18. I’ve milled a bit with the 461, it does the job with a 25” and you get about 18.5” cut. But don’t push it and expect to much, ie seasoned hard wood
  19. I can’t wait, I wanna get my hands on that beastie saw of yours? I bet a few are wondering ?..
  20. It kept me up all darn night, ? but it was good ?
  21. You live and learn,?. I guess I was slow on this stump ?. i put this up, to show we all can make mistakes. That day I learnt more on how to file and learnt not to try and cut bricks again?.
  22. Yes, as they say I got the tee shirt. i sharpened more than once before I found this in the crutch base of the tree. ?. It was hidden in needles and crap. You can see how much I cut ? I was so pleased I found it I took a pic ?
  23. So here’s a few pic's. First few pics is new chain 3/8 lopro (not on a bar) the next few pics are a slightly used chain (on a 12” bar) , I,m sure someone will comment good or bad, about my filing but as we’ve said before it does take time to be able to get good results, and then while on a job time is not plentiful to waste on filing a chain. ?
  24. My 2p worth ? as I sort of said before look at your cutters and compare them. i,m not sure if those cutter teef are sharpened from a file or a grinder. if the former, your file is not being held at the correct height to get the correct tooth angle. If it’s the latter, then the grinder is at the wrong angle. the short answer is not enough hook on the tooth and I,m guessing that’s a 3/8 lopro or picco. As your saw is a small saw. Which you should be using 4mm file. i will see if I can find a new chain and take a pic and a chain on a bar of mine and take a pic. then compare them to yours
  25. As saw that has and 11.5 inch bar and chain is probably about 35cc if you want to run a 18 or 20 inch bar and chain you'd be looking at a 50 or 60cc saw and thats for cross cutting wood. Milling is a lot harder on a saw and a lot slower. depending on what you plan to do will dictate what saw you need. now I’ve not said anything about chain pitch etc. I will say like others you can’t mix them thou. Either you need to ask a lot of questions or you need to do a lot of reading. also knowing how to file properly the chain really helps. I wish you the best, if you succeed it will be an awesome feeling ??
