  1. Personally I prefer the grease nipple route every time although in certain situations due to access problems a remote greaser is the only option.. This is generally fine as long as you have a feel for the grease gun, i.e you can tell if it's pumping too easily, but I always look for the tell tale wisp of grease from the seal to know that the grease is actually reaching where it should....
  2. Do you happen to know the exact model..? Only the Arborist name wasn't used until recently on the 150... So assuming it's a 2004 machine it's probably an 'eco', or more likely a 15-23, alternatively, which engine is fitted to it..? Jase. Sent from my D5803 using Arbtalk mobile app

  6. From memory it should use 32 grade hydraulic mineral oil.....

  10. Looks as good as the genuine article.....
  11. The choke operating rod should pass through a 'spring clip' , its worth checking that it's still passing through this as they have been known to come 'adrift'..! If it's still in it's correct position then you may be able to bend the clip to put more resistance on the rod..? If the clip has broken then they are readily available from Greenmech or a Briggs dealer and are relatively easy to fit.....

  16. Just looking on eBay and there's a 'crank' but it's in China and still silly money, would need checking and probably a regrind..... 3LB1 crankshaft for Isuzu engine excavator | eBay
  17. John are you sure it's the 'crankshaft' as I've never heard of this before on the 3LB1, have you checked that it's not the 'flexi plates' on the engine drive shaft that have given up.....? Jase..
  18. <p>Yes Pete all ok here...did the 'Network Rail' job in Cardiff today, wrongly diagnosed as an RDS box and turned out to be silicone in the fuel suction pipe in the tank.. !</p>
